A wonderful Florida experience!
Even after 20+ years of frequenting this place, I still love it. The location is convenient with plenty of parking. I had shrimp and grits yesterday, my companion had fried shrimp. We were both pleased with our meals and even had some leftovers to take home. I've also gone here for just appetizers and drinks and the adjacent pier is great to sit and have a drink and take in the beautiful surroundings. I'm happy to report that even after many years, their quality has stayed high. As the picture shows, there is tiki hut dining, both high and ground level...super place to take out of towners. The vibe is definitely Florida - maybe a combo of St. Augustine and the Keys!
Be the first to ReplyOverated food, but atmosphere great!
Beautiful atmosphere. However food was below average. Waitress was very inattentive. Ordered shrimp & Gritts & lobster Mac & cheese.
Be the first to ReplyUnique place with excellent food!
OMG! What a unique place. The food is amazing here. We ate here 2 days in a row. We had the nachos with chirozo, beef and pork and the buttermilk chicken dinner. -Definitely worth our 15 minute wait to sit in one of the elevated tiki huts. -Walking distance from the historic district. We walked here from the Best Western Bayfront. I'm going to try and recreate those nachos at home, best we have ever had!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious lunch in a great atmosphere
We wanted to have a nice lunch after we arrived. The Conch House was a few minutes' walk from our accommodation. We were given a very friendly welcome and had a nice table right by the harbor. My wife had a very tasty jerk chicken and I chose the "catch of the day", a flounder. Great quality with a great price-performance ratio. Highly recommended!!
Be the first to ReplyFlorida Seafood Exquisitely and Imaginatively Prepared
One of my favorite Florida seafood experiences! On this visit, I had Shrimp Anastasia: fresh local shrimp with mushrooms, tomatoes and prosciutto prepared in a delicious white wine butter sauce and topped with shaved Parmesan. Just amazing!!! My dining companions' choices included Lobster Mac n' Cheese, Gator Tail, Fried Shrimp, Coconut Rice ... there was not a lot of conversation during the meal, as everyone was really enjoying their choices! Service is fantastic. There's usually a bit of a wait for a table, but DEFINITELY worth the wait!

Great service, the server paced our meal perfectly. Drinks were delicious and the food was on point. They easily accommodated our family of 7. Kids enjoyed themselves as well and even tried new food.
Be the first to ReplyYou CAN go "home" (i.e. The Conch House) again!
I hadn't been to the Conch House for a great many years. Our Friends suggested we go for lunch. What a wonderful treat!!Thank you, Suzanne & Rick, for getting us back there.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a fun evening!
The bartender at The Ice Plant recommended here for Minorcan chowder, that we wanted to try. This place is large, festive, tiki torch lit, and in a marina. We sat in a palapa outside. Our server Hannah was great. We shared a bowl of the chowder and a fried shrimp plate. The chowder was kind of like spaghetti sauce with conch and potatoes. The datil pepper sauce was more of a spicy ketchup. The addition of the sauce really spiced it up. The shrimp, slaw and fries were great, especially those fries!! Everything needed salt but there was plenty available. It was a delightful evening, made more so by Hannah. Thank you.

Charming restaurant for dinner. We had a very good meal and especially liked the corn fritters. Service was fast and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyThe worst experience ever!
The worst visit I ever had. Server was young and inexperienced but he was courteous and did everything he could to make our visit worthwhile. The g go old was very disappointing. We have been there several times and was as upset thst our food was cold, the shrimp was undercooked and so was the scallops. We asked for A-1 for my wife’s steak and they came back and said they were out of steak sauce. Really? Management is poor and the cooks were worse. I’m not going back (ever!)
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere and traditional sea food
Great spot for traditional Seafood dishes—delicious fried shrimp, fries, Cole slaw, hush puppies…conch fritters are amazingly delicious!
Be the first to ReplyNice Bar!
Young girls seating customers need more training. Food just OK. Bar at end of Pier was nice. Had live music.
Be the first to ReplyThe manager Paige argued with me and harassed me and my family
I would like to file a complaint against the Manager Paige that works at the restaurant. We had terrible service, the waiter was very inattentive and was asked to bring items out multiple times because he continued to forget items, he didn’t refill our drinks and slammed drinks on the table so much so, the drink splashed out of the top of the glass and splashed someone in my party… The food was absolutely disgusting and if wasn’t awful had no taste. We didn’t eat most of the items ordered. We asked to speak with the Manager and we were met by Paige who made myself and my family defend ourselves about the quality of the food and even admitted she had eaten the soup that day and agreed it wasn’t good….and yet she let it be served all day long. She argued with me about the attention of the waiter and advised she “watched the camera” on us because her employee wasn’t attentive and didn’t want to listen to the customer. She instead of apologizing, very begrudgingly took SOME of the items from the table away. She took more than 15 minutes to come back out, so long that I had to go find her! She then ARGUED with me about her approach and tone after I politely asked for her Managers information as she was not treating me or my family with respect. She argued with me in front of the restaurant, in front of the staff, in front of other guests and berated me for “interrupting” her while she was trying to defend her atrocious behavior as a Manager. All around the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. She REFUSED to provide the General Managers contact information to me and instead thought she would be slick and give me her own card to contact. I had to walk to the motel to get proper assistance. We didn’t want to tip and she threatened to call the police on us for taking it off as, there was no a shred of appropriate service from the Manager to the cook to the wait staff… Maybe take a look at the reviews you have on trip advisor because had i read them I would have never bothered going and bringing my family there. The Conch House used to be the best place to go eat on the water and enjoy good seafood and the entire experience is ruined and I feel bad for every person that has to encounter their food and that rude Manager. The audacity to make a family defend the food they did NOT eat because it was gross, then argue with us and threaten to call the cops even though we paid our bill. Your restaurant and my experience is going to be put on every platform I can because of the absolute disrespect me and my family encountered from your Manager Paige. Disgusting service and food. I hope to hear back with how this will be rectified and I hope you fire her as she attacks and berated your customers because most of the dishes were disgusting!
Be the first to ReplyThe place to be for great food with a view
Stopped in last Saturday for a birthday dinner celebration - just drove by and thought that looks like a cool place to eat dinner. It was raining so - No line - No waiting. Food was creative and tasty along with a very friendly staff. Will return again during a sunny day to enjoy the Tiki Hut outside dining.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent but busy
This restaurant was crazy busy so there was quite a wait. They have both inside and outside dining. We ended up sitting outside, which worked out fine on a pretty evening. Even though they were busy, the waitress was attentive and our food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. It was so fresh and delicious.!! The fresh catch that day was mahi which I got blackened and it was wonderful! My husband said his fried shrimp were the best he has ever had.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful View
We were seated immediately by a very pleasant hostess who took us up to the top floor to enjoy the view. The waitress was there within seconds. On their website it says that lunch is served from 11 to 5 pm but we were given the dinner menu as we had just arrived around 4pm. She brought us the lunch menus since we had not received prior notice of the change. We went there for happy hour, which also on their website says $2 off beer, wine, and mixed drinks from 4-7 pm. The food we ordered was delicious, service was excellent We were charged full price for the drinks. At this point I kind of gave up....what the heck! For anyone that is from out of town and relies on the information from THEIR website...don't. btw....you owe me $4 and I won't be back.

Such an amazing place to eat. We checked in easily and waited for our table at The Lounge while listening to live music. The food was delicious and the scallops were my favorite! Our server was so nice and attentive! Will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyVery unique setting overlooking marina.
We first saw the tiki hut village from the water during a boat tour. We couldn’t wait to check out the restaurant for ourselves. The entire place is visually enchanting. A wooden deck patio with tables spaced appropriately. Inside dining as well. The draw, however, is the staggered height private tiki hut tables overlooking the marina. We had a very good lunch, tasty drinks and top notch service. You can also stroll down the pier to find a small bar with very unique tables and a small iron grill in the floor open to the water below!! This fun place is located on Anatasia Island, reached by crossing the Bridge of Lions out of St. Augustine.

We found this gem after we navigated the bottleneck that IS the historic district of St. Augustine and were not able to find a parking spot . The Conch House was close to our lodging and offered a nice seafood selection that is our focus when in FL. What a wonderful surprise it was! We were there for takeout, yet it was obvious that the service was great. The two people I dealt with were extremely friendly and while I waited I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff, the look of the restaurant and the casual/charming atmosphere. As it turned out, the food (and it's presentation) matched that level. We ordered grilled Mahi (catch of the day) and fried shrimp. You might think that no kitchen could surprise you with something as universal as a fried shrimp basket, but you would be wrong. THIS was the best fried shrimp I have ever had. perfectly done, with a wonderful batter, good french fries and some excellent hush puppies. My wife ordered the Mahi and was also very pleased. The takeout container was handled with care and packaged with nothing left out. We appreciated the attention the staff gave to our order and we would highly recommend the Conch House to anyone visiting this area.

We were not expecting much, but we were genuinely surprised. The food, atmosphere, and service are fantastic! The tiki huts are really fun and provide a great view of the marina. We loved the mahi-mahi. I look forward to visiting The Conch House again.

Be the first to ReplyA Waterfront Gem
First of all, the restaurant is next to a marina and has a great view of it. Unfortunately, it was too chilly to eat outside, but indoors still had a great waterfront view. Our service was excellent. A shout out to Jarrett our waiter. Our drinks were equally great. The Bloody Maries come with a skewered green olive, a shrimp, a slice of lime, and the requisite celery stick. They are good sized and delicious. The Bahamian Fritters appetizer was also delicious. The 'catch of the day' was Mahi Mahi. I had mine blackened, and my wife had hers grilled with coconut and pineapple. My fish was so good I didn't want to contaminate it with the tarter sauce or lemon. We both thought it was the best cooked fish we've had. All in all, we both called The Conch House a perfect 'gem.' It's not cheap, but it was well worth it to us.
