Superb
We had dinner on a quiet Sunday evening the restaurant if you come early. The place is looking over the Brooklyn bridge and prides itself for the highest quality fish around. I had a delicious sole and was offered to finish to have it fillet or not I chose to do it myself. The taste was spotted on as I remember it growing up in France. Staff was discreet and yet efficient. The prices are market based on the expensive side and yet totally justified.
Be the first to ReplyAn absolute delight: delicious seafood and knowledge staff
We had a lovely dinner at the Fulton. All of the seafood was so fresh and absolutely delicious and being looked after by Hemingway was a delight: his detailed knowledge of the dishes was valuable and most welcome.
Be the first to ReplyThe Fulton NYC - Ok but nothing special
Restaurant was difficult to find. We walked round the building twice before establishing where the front entrance was. Not signed very well. The restaurant appeared to be connected to another bar which confused the situation even more. When booking, you can choose dining room or atrium, but there was no description on what the differences were on the website. When we did finally find the entrance, the staff were very friendly and greeted us on our arrival. Our waitress was also very nice and friendly. When we were seated the receptionist passed us over to a young boy dressed in casual clothing. Whilst he was friendly and polite, it did seem rather strange or out of place should I say. There were staff that walked around to fill our water glasses, I think only 1 of them smiled, the rest didn’t seem happy to be there. Nice venue with a nice view of the bridge. We did ask to be sat with good views of the bridge, hard to say if this was done or not as there were better seats vacant but the view was ok where we were sat. We were given complimentary bread and water and a free cake and ice cream desert as was to celebrate our engagement which was a nice touch. The food in my opinion was over priced. Very small portions. I ordered shellfish tortellini and it came with 4 small pieces of pasta. It was nice, just slightly over priced. I probably wouldn’t go back here again. It was nice to try but nothing special. I think if it was signed better and we were sat in seats with a better view of the bridge it would have made the experience much better. But the food wasn’t anything special. Or maybe we just didn’t order the best dishes perhaps.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful views, incredible wine and food. 10/10
This is tricky to find so allow a bit of extra time. I was slightly worried as what I had booked as it looked like a food court with a cinema etc. But I stepped in The Fulton and it was stunning. Ask for a table upstairs facing the bridges. It was really beautiful and we were blown away. One of the best restaurants ever. Views and stunning wine and food. It was fabulous. GO!! XX

Breathtaking views paired with delectable dishes made our visit memorable. Even with a large group, every dish hit the mark. Worth the visit for the vistas alone, and the prices were reasonable!
Be the first to ReplyGreat location
Tricky place to find, as combined with other restaurant's within complex. Sat outside close to the river with fabulous views. Good choice's on menu. Staff not particularly engaging. Good quality Food and Wine but lacking ambience.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous!!
A perfect night on the patio: the weather, the view, the service, the food! Our appetizers (octopus, calamari, heirloom tomatoes) and entrees (salmon, Gruyère cheeseburger, and shrimp and Crab Campanelle) were delicious. If you are looking for the ultimate outdoor dining experience in Manhattan, The Fulton met all our needs. And I fully intend to return even when the weather gets cooler, because when l visited the second floor on the way to the restroom, I was taken by the incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge and cozy atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful view and great food
Beautiful view and food was delicious. The service was great and loved that they leave a bottle of water on the table and refill as necessary. I tried a cucumber cocktail but it tasted like a tart margarita. I told the server I thought it was the margarita and not the cucumber cocktail. I was fine with drinking it but wanted to still try the cucumber one. However, the server insisted that’s what it was.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid this restauran!
Nice view but service is absolutely terrible and the restaurant manager is particularly rude. Avoid this place!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great service
We were very pleased with the options of seafood especially the Asian fusion style - I had the seafood hot pot for entrée which was nicely done. The seafood plateau was a great combo of shrimp, sashimi and oysters. I LOVE the desserts - my husband had the chocolate boat and I had the Pear; they were both beautiful and delicious. The staff were very attentive throughout the whole dinner. The view of the Brooklyn Bridge outside made the meal all the better.
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyable evening out in a low-key atmosphere with a great view
We enjoyed our dinner out at The Fulton. The setting is low key and relaxed with a view of the East River. We enjoyed the seafood courses and found it to be fresh with interesting combinations. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It took a little time to get our check at the end as the restaurant was busier. Overall a wonderful dinner and evening out.

I hosted a group of 10 here for late dinner on a cold evening in January. The view was lovely. We received excellent service and all were pleased with the food. I can't wait to come again in nicer weather!
Be the first to ReplyTerrible food with tip surprise
Me and my couple went there for a dining. We have ordered the octopus as appetiser to share, it was ok but the mozzarella as side was of really bad quality, we are from Italy and we recognise good mozzarella from bad one. After the appetiser we have both ordered a first course of pasta, personally with clams and my couple another type. It was the worst pasta we ever eaten so far… Ingredients were completely putted without any kind of reason… We left the two dishes practically untouched… The dine was to celebrate a special occasion and thus they served us a classical no-taste dessert… We paid 53$ each and I left only 5 dollars as tip because of the very low quality of the food. Surprise! They have 3 days later added to both bills a total of 20$ of tip… The only good thing they have is the view, NO MORE! If you are looking for a place to dine get far away from there… By contrast if you want only a place where you can post an instagram story for you follower that’s your place!
Be the first to ReplyUnbelievable poor evening
Service, food is over rated. Would not recommend, credit card system did not work, had to find a bank machine to get cash, just all around poor
Be the first to ReplyGREAT location, Good Food
We went to the Fulton for brunch today, and it was a gorgeous day in NYC. We arrived early and were promptly seated at a wonderful booth on the second floor facing the water and the bridge. Zack was our server and he was fantastic. Zack, if you read this, you were great and we would definitely ask for your section again – thank you for your wonderful service! The Fulton is a wonderful location with great ambiance and service. The seafood was very, very fresh; the quality and flavor, some of the best we’ve had. I’ve had a lot of caviar over the years but never Kristal Kaviari – it was very good. Our drinks were great – especially the Yuzu 75. Can one or two go and enjoy the Fulton, with delicious food and drink for under $100 and be satisfied? Absolutely yes. Can you splurge and get a number of items for an extravagant experience? Also, yes. Will some find it overpriced for what you get? That depends on the person. All of the menus are online and the reservation process is fast and easy so take a look and decide for yourself before you decide to go. We loved the second-floor location and if the weather is beautiful, the outdoor seating can’t be beat. What we ordered for 6 of us: 28g Tin of Kristal Kaviari with Blini Royale Seafood Plateau Grand Seafood Plateau 6 Little Neck Clams Yellowfin Tuna Tartare Crispy Fish Tacos Ham Benedict Tagliatelle with Cockles, Broccoli and Black Pepper Za’atar Crusted Salmon Pumpkin Spice Sundae 2 Chocolate Boats Ice Cream Sorbet Trio Numerous drinks including several Yuzu 75 Would we do it again? TBD
Be the first to ReplyWonderful riverside restaurant if you're in the area
Had to hunt a little to find this restaurant but very glad I did. Popped into lunch without a reservation and the team seated me quickly on the patio with an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Only the regular traffic/tourist/police helicopters flying over the area ruined the serenity of the seating. Ordered a Crispy Calamari Herb Salad to start that was a great mix of softness and crispiness coupled with a lovely heat from the spice added. The herb salad coupling beautifully with the Calamari. Next up were the Fish Tacos with the Siracha sauce... very decent sized fried fish goujons in a soft taco wrap. Very light with a nice crunch from the added slaw. I wouldn't say delicious but nice enough (if a smite greasy). Closing the meal was an excellent mango sorbet and a very good coffee. Service was excellent, with an attentive waitress who didn't hover and was very helpful with menu selection showing a good knowledge of the items available. Final verdict: Wonderful higher end riverside restaurant if you're in the area but the helicopters would put me off trekking here just for a lunch or dinner
Be the first to ReplyExcellent location, food and service
We went from a trip via NYC Ferry to Wall Street. Looked up this new location, as I have really enjoy really the Columbus Circle location. We arrived early …without a reservation but no issues in getting a seat. Service was excellent, attentive but also not rushed. Food .. lobster roll, tomato and peach salad and fish tacos highly recommended. Will most certainly return and try for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious, tiny, expensive portions - great location
I really enjoyed my miniscule lunch the other day at the Fulton on Pier 17. The quinoa salad with greens, fresh mint, little strawberries, shrimp, and quinoa, was delicious. But the portion was tiny! I mean miniscule. (And I'm a very small person myself.) For $30. But the view of the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge on a sunny day was lovely. This, in a nutshell, is the New York City fine dining experience: one pays dearly for location, location, location. (If you simply want a very good meal, normal portions, at a reasonable price, go to a good old-fashioned Greek diner, found all over NYC.)
Be the first to ReplyTerribly disappointing experience
I went to the Fulton with my wife last week, having previously tried (and liked) his flagship restaurant at Columbus Circle. The location of the Fulton is outstanding and I liked the interior décor. Everything else fell way short of our expectations. For our entrées my wife chose the sea bass and I chose the Faroe Islands salmon (which for some reason was served in a deep dish which made it more difficult to eat). Both dishes were spoilt by the elaborate sauces used to douse the flavour and spoil the texture of the fish itself. The service was also very poor. There is no way I shall return.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing food and overpriced wine. Great views though.
This Cavernous restaurant has obviously born the brunt of a difficult pandemic. The whole pier is very quiet. Despite this the restaurant is subtly lit and has some atmosphere and the views of Brooklyn are great. The service is attentive and polite if a little too obsequious . The food was just ok. Opting for the burger which was very under seasoned so quite bland with some completely tasteless cheese on top. The much lauded ‘jus’ was a weird addition but at least it added flavour but again was nothing to write home about. I’ve had so many better burgers elsewhere. The wine list is way over priced - but the obvious place where restaurants make profit. Would I return. No.
Be the first to ReplyA long lunch, without the fun
Terrible service, huge wait for food both appetizers and entrees. Restaurant was empty inside and about 4 tables occupied outside.
$30 for an appetizer sized 'salad' with shrimp = 3 slices of apple, 4 chunks of beetroot, 4 cold shrimp (meant to be hot) and a dollop of sour yoghurt. ew
No acknowledgement of terrible service, still paid 20% tip.
Go and spend your hard earned money at another 'Michelin' restaurant. Shame.
5 star view, 4 star food, 3 star service
We had dinner on the patio at sunset on an early autumn evening. The view of the river, Brooklyn Bridge and skyline is spectacular. Our food (scallops, swordfish) was very good and beautifully presented. Our server was pleasant but somewhat erratic. At first he hovered but then he disappeared. When our entrees were delivered, we wanted to order a second glass of wine but he was nowhere to be found. I asked another server to send him our way but he didn’t show up again until we’d polished off the dinner.
Be the first to ReplyLovely dinner
We recently dined outside and had a lovely dinner here. Our server was efficient and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, particularly the shrimp and the tuna tartare appetizers. The view was gorgeous. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyThe Good, The Bad, The Ugly
The Good; Food tasted great as you would expect from a Jean Georges restaurant. I’ve been to five others of his places.
The Bad: my party was placed in an area with very limited views of the river. The service was very poor (took 45 minutes before we got our drinks; they forgot napkins; the lamp on the table didn’t work; hard to get their attention; they were out of some ingredients). This service was two stars.
Th Ugly: The bathrooms were filthy! I waited five minutes for a unit to open when an employee left a single-seater all-gender bathroom. The toilet was not flushed and the floor was drenched. Who does that?
Overall, a great (and expensive) disappointment for a Jean George restaurant.
A magical evening with stunning views
We had a magical evening-- the view, the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere were perfect. And the service we received only served to punctuate a fantastic experience. Extra kudos to Pedro for his excellent recommendations on food, wine, and exceptional care to ensure we had a night we would not forget. We will be sure to come back soon and tell others to do the same.
