Amazing food!
As an Italian this place is 10 out of 10!! Highly recommend. Food is great and fresh and the atmosphere is nice and romantic.

Was looking forward to visiting but was let down by experience overall. Lacklustre welcome. Table for 2 in middle of restaurant with manic servers brushing past constantly. Didn’t feel genuinely Italian. Starters were ok but risotto was so bland it was tasteless. Would not return. I’m sick of paying hard earned money on ovrepriced average food.

We hosted our wedding reception here at the Italian greyhound, we had a total of 49 guests including me and my new husband. We booked this only 8/9 weeks ahead as it was a last minute decision to tie the knot, however Serena the events planner was amazing from start to finish. We visited the restaurant in December to have a look round and have lunch and we met Serena then, instantly forming a connection, we booked the date and from there we had great communication via email right up until the day. We got married at the old Marylebone town hall and then jumped onto a red double decker bus for the short journey to the greyhound; we arrived earlier than expected but this was not a problem as everything was set up perfectly, welcome drinks ready and waiting. We opted for a 5 course menu and all of the guests loved the food, we did too. The staff on the day were great and so helpful. All tables were decorated according to my written instructions which I had dropped off the day before along with the cake too. The florist was able to get in on the morning around 11 to do the table flowers which also looked wonderful. A lovely day had by all, food, drinks, staff, decorations, all great. Thank you so much Serena and the staff that worked on our special day. We will be back to see you soon.
Be the first to ReplyNEVER NEVER AGAIN !!!
NEVER, NEVER AGAIN !!! First time in life a ate pizza/paper ! I order pizza with mushrooms and black truffle. The truffles not fresh and slices as paper cigarette were in oil for months certainly but worse is to eat pizza and paper ! Between the wood dish and pizza a paper white and blue , for what ..? I don't know..... so each time i cut my pizza i ate paper white a and blue. I ask to change knife 2 times cause doesn't cut the pizza! Pasta taste chewy and not crispy at all. Expensive and not good, very disapointed.

Had an early dinner on a Friday. Quite simple but warm. Bit disappointed with the menu. Not an amazing choice. It’s Italianish I guess but to be fair the buratta starter was really good. Mains were quite disappointing all round. Service was friendly and ok, ambience ok, prices ok. Think that’s the thing, it was all just ok. You would however have more chance of seeing a greyhound than an Italian in here.
Be the first to ReplyGood restaurant gone downhill, sadly.
This is our second time at The Italian Greyhound. Unfortunately the second visit was a pale shadow of our first (5star and great) experience. It was a Sunday evening and the place was quiet so the chef and staff had no excuses for the lukewarm food we were served. Was the chef was more focused on clearing his kitchen than ensuring the plate was warm and the food hot? Whatever the reason, there’s never an excuse for serving lukewarm Pasta! And on top of that, the prices have gone up steeply since our last visit 18 months ago. Premium prices for mediocre food is a recipe for business disaster. We stay nearby quite often but will never dine here again.
Be the first to ReplyA real gem of a venue!
I visited TIG with my company for an event of 52 people and the events manager could not do enough to accommodate us. In my group we have allergies, last minute changes and chose the 3-course menu and everyone was raving about the food afterwards over drinks at their bar downstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed last night - a real gem of a venue with great food and even better wait and bar staff! Thank you so much 😊
Be the first to ReplyNice for a date night
We ordered two appetizers, focaccia and tiger prawns and for mains the crab linguine. We also drank some coctails and wine. I'd say that the food overall was good, not superb, but worth trying. The atmosphere was nice and suitable for a date night. The portion sizes were quite large, so be mindful of that when ordering! We were very full after our meal. The staff was friendly.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Italian food
We really enjoyed this busy innovative Italian not far from Marble Arch. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous so be careful not to over order as I did. I recommend the crab linguine. They have a great selection of cocktails too.

Fabulous wedding party. Great private room, and every mouthful of the canapés then the meal was delicious. Highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyHappy to be back
Still very good since I last visited 3 years ago. This time I had the Chicken Milanese which was cooked just right. Will definitely come again.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and quality service
Went for an early dinner. Nice dining room in a modern style, efficient but unhurried service. Good value food (for London) ; particularly delicious burrata. Would derinitely return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Italian, service, atmosphere!
This restaurant was close to our hotel and we had here dinner twice with friends. Great choice of Italian dishes, including vegetarians, fast nice helpful staff, modern decore and happy atmosphere. On our second visit we descovered that the restaurant have a basment floor for private parties. The place was busy on evenings, so book the table in advance and don't miss the dessert. Enjoy!
Be the first to ReplyOkay for a business dinner, but too noisy unless.....
...you get them to turn off the background music. That helped a lot. The food was served family style, and most of it was good. Opinions varied from dish to dish. Portions were perhaps a bit skimpy, but I managed to have enough to eat.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, good atmosphere, friendly staff
We visited on a Wednesday evening for dinner as a group of friends. The food was delicious and the wine and cocktails really good too. The staff are v friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous family dinner
We had a fabulous family dinner here. Food was delicious, service was polite & efficient and the general ambiance in the restaurant was very buzzy, warm and welcoming. Crab linguine was a particular hit. Cocktails were fab and the wine was well priced. Will return soon.
Be the first to ReplyBrilliant spot for lunch
We ordered the arancini to start, which was delicious, then a pizza and ragu both were fabulous for the price. On the drinks menus is a good range of low-alcohol beers and cocktails! We will be returning soon!

We had the opportunity to dine at the Italian greyhound during a visit to london. The restaurant is conveniently located near marble arch. The restaurant had a nice ambience. The menu boost many delicious Italian favourites. Service was good and prompt. Definitely worth checking out
Be the first to ReplyPerfect for our company gathering
Our company organised our Christmas gathering here recently. All the dishes were pre-ordered for us, comprised of a nice balance of shared plates. Most were good (not outstanding), but my stand out favourites were the arancini and foccacia bread. The restaurant's ambience was spacey, chic and relaxed, with pleasant buzz of background chatter. Service from the staff is jovial, informal and responsive, interacting with an upbeat banter. Overall, Italian Greyhound provided our company with the perfect environment for our gathering.

We went for a late lunch. the Gin and Tonics at £12.50 arrived in large wine glasses with an olive and rosemary; both a strange choice for the drink…….. We had some ‘sharing’ starters, they were very mean, not for sharing and completely underwhelming; transparent ham, 4 prawns, and 4 small slices of Focaccia. The Hake and risotto was delicious, our friends pasta looked good but their portions were small; we had to remind staff about the sides which arrived almost as we had finished. Overall we felt the experience was pretty average for the money and would not go back.
Be the first to ReplyClam Linguine was fantastic!
Fantastic food and service. Great neighborhood. The perfect casual dinner spot. Dinner is only the dinner order. No bread included and you must order. Still, well done!
Be the first to ReplyModern and impressive
We were surprised to find this excellent italian restaurant as we were passing by. We endes up with a tree course dinner. Very good food and the venue has a modern design. Recommended
Be the first to ReplyExcellent lunch
My husband and I found this little gem when searching for a late lunch. We shared the burrata, my husband had chicken Milanese with rosemary potatoes, followed by tiramisu and I had pappardelle ragu, followed by chocolate cake. All the food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient, but not rushed. We enjoyed 2 beers and 2 Proseccos with lots of water. The bill was around £125.
Be the first to ReplyWedding Lunch Reception in the Garden Room
I held my wedding lunch in The Garden Room. The food was excellent, my guests thoroughly enjoyed the feasting / sharing concept. The Ravioli with black truffle was the culinary star of the day. The room was perfect for 20 guests, light and airy. Lastly the staff were amazing. Efficient and friendly at the same time. Assisted with impromptu music and dancing. Frankie was great coordinating the day keeping all arrangements relaxed and the bride to be happy. Thanks to Team Italian Greyhound.
Be the first to ReplySmart neighbourhood Italian
What a lovely venue for a Summer Saturday Supper. We had an outdoor table on the small terrace. Service was great. We shared the burrata and arancini starters. I would recommend both. I had the salmon with capers and peas which was zingy and fresh. OH had the truffle ravioli which looked quite a small portion but was very rich so perfect amount. We will definitely come back, especially as it’s dog friendly! Ps When it was called Bernardi’s they always had a delicious fish carpaccio on the menu. Please bring this back!
