This restaurant has wonderful food and atmosphere. It is definitely a must! The Jane’s decor is worth the visit alone!!
Good experience.
The venue, the friendly and knowledgable staff, the superb presentation of the food... all spot on. We've had a great afternoon at The Jane. The food was good, perhaps in general with exceptions, it did not overwhelm us in regard to taste, nevertheless for the whole experience, we were entertained.
An outstanding experience
It was not our first visit in a Michelin star restaurant but the first visit in The Jane. At it was a great evening. We feel welcome from the first second of arriving. The dinner itself takes its time, but it is every second worth. You get never bored, you feel that every minute something new happened. It was great. Thank you for Nik and his team, you did a great job
superb top cuisine
This was an outstanding experience from the beginning to the end. The staff, the divine creations of the food all to perfection. We are very impressed - lead by a chef who truly follows his passion to absolute perfection. Genius. The setting is amazing, the porcelain, the whole energy of the chapel is worth the highest praise.
Perfect dining experience
The Jane in Antwerp offers an extraordinary dining experience with exceptional food presentation, elegant ambiance, and attentive service. Housed in a beautifully restored chapel, the sophisticated setting and open kitchen concept create a unique atmosphere. Although pricey, the quality and overall experience justify the cost, making it an ideal choice for special occasions.
The Jane Robbes you!
Unfortunately, the experience is that you are robbed at The Jane in Antwerp. An organic juice menu for € 115,- the man and you are not even told this politely. They tell you about these juices, but not what it costs. In addition, expensive bottles of water are placed on the table unsolicited, without me even asking for this. Then they say that with the desserts you can choose from sweet or sweet, in this case cheese, but if you choose cheese, you have to pay more. You will not be told that either, no, it will simply be stated on your invoice. It leaves a nasty aftertaste, especially if you are robbed by a drunk chef.
Great food, but disappointing experience
Great food, but overall disappointed by the experience. Food served with empty glasses or even no glasses on the table. When there is a 30min gap between meals(or 1h30min for aperitif) I would expect a refill but this never happened in the end I ended up ordering an additional glass of wine(also a small serving).In the beginning of the dinner, 4 bread choices were available, by the end of the evening only the dark bread remained. Between meals, the cutlery is swapped, but on occasion this was forgotten. Overall not what I expected in a 2 star restaurant, but I would go back just for the food!
Top notch fine dining

Chef Nick Bril Terrible Attitude When Handling Issues
I would like report a Michelin 2 Stars restaurant named “ The Jane “ in Antwerp Belgium. The service has not been provided and negative attitude when they are handling the issues. Also, I would like to provide the screenshots of emails that I’ve communicated with the chef Nick Bril who charge the restaurant. You will definitely recognize how they treat the customer terribly when the customer reported an issue. I’ve highlighted all the sentences that made me feel offended. Please see the attachment.

Gastronomically amazing - rest was kind of disappointing
Have been looking forward to our lunch at The Jane for quite some time. From gastronomical point of view, this was truly a great experience - expectation was high for a two-star Michelin restaurant, and expectations were certainly met on gastronomical point of view. There were however a number of factors that created a feeling of disappointment. The biggest one is the lack of genuine Hospitality. The welcome and service were OK and efficient, but lacked any human warmth. All was efficient but very mechanical - nearly robotically. Even questions on how the course was, felt very mechanical. Also, the seating close to the entry curtain did not feel comfortable with regular shots of cold wind on the back. Be aware also that many of the courses are prepared with fish and shellfish - we love this but we can imagine it may be disappointing when one is not into fish. Food was really great - but total experience could be much better
Amazing!
Everything was amazing about this place: location, food and service. We were lucky to get a table in just a couple of weeks. Will be back whenever in Antwerpen.
Great experience
You are offered a 4-5 hours experience. Service is smooth and good (not too formal) Wines and juices were all to perfection Food was super. Fixed Menu contains mostly sea food. All allergies and wishes we gave upfront were taken care off. And even the printed menu was adapted per person to reflect that ( it s the details that make it great)
Waw. Monumental
It’s a legend of course, according to some (with authority) the best restaurant in Belgium. Venue is a treat (old chapel). Dishes exquisite, master Bril at work. Service impeccable. Wine pairing a delight. Wife and son took non-alcoholic pairing and must admit: at par. Had a magic evening.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to The Jane Antwerpen at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the The Jane Antwerpen page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at The Jane Antwerpen to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at The Jane Antwerpen!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
