We've been here many times and have never had a bad meal. The duck and corned beef are excellent and for NYC very reasonably priced. If you enjoy cocktails expect a very good pour. Two minor things that some may have a problem with beer selection and the number of entrees are pretty limited. Other than that you cant go wrong

late lunch after touring the Enterprise museum. Delicious! Bangers and mash, with fresh mashed potatoes and plenty of delicious gravy. A chicken Ceasar salad with perfectly cooked, tender chicken. Excellent service, reasonable prices. Will be back on our next visit to NY.
Be the first to ReplyPleasant atmosphere good food
Hot food and cold draft. I had fish and chips very crispy fish and chips (fries) were fresh hand cut and perfect. Price was moderate for NYC. This is located up the street from the Intrepid which was perfect for us as we were staying on W48th. Service was paced nicely and Joseph was very pleasant. We will be back when we return in the spring.
Be the first to ReplyA Taste of Europe in the Heart of New York: The Landmark Tavern
Having traveled extensively during the recent years, I was pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic gem in New York City. “The Landmark Tavern” boasts dishes teeming with the freshness of ingredients, each evoking the rich flavors of the countryside. The commitment to home preparation is evident and commendable. Yet, what truly elevates this establishment is the staff. Their genuine courtesy and hospitality mirror the warmth and welcoming spirit found in a traditional home. This tavern is a must-visit for anyone seeking a slice of Ireland in the Big Apple.

We had a lovely drink and bite to eat here. Good service, friendly atmosphere and fantastic value for money. I'd recommend Landmark Tavern.
Be the first to ReplyNot great, not bad. Just okay.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was decidedly average and beer list surprisingly small and mostly big lable (few craft brews). It was cool and comfortable on a hot day but would be extremely loud when full of patrons. It was an average experience. Not a bad one, but I definitely expected more given the high Trip Advisor traveller ranking. I doubt I’d return again if I was in the area.
Be the first to ReplyMonday night music session
Visited here on our trip to NYC after researching irish bars in the area. We were delighted to find that the landmark tavern hosts a traditional music session every Monday. We ventured along and were not disappointed. Music was authentic and genuine. The musicians actually mentioned that usually there would be more of them so I imagine some Monday’s it is even better. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had the westside lady baileys cocktails which were simply delicious and we will be trying to recreate back home!
Overall a great spot, off the beaten path away from the tourist hype. We would definitely return if back in NYC.
Fun & Friendly Tavern
Went recently with friends who love this place and I can see why. It truly is an old school tavern with dark wood everywhere, a beautiful old school bar, and great food & drinks. The staff is warm & friendly. Look forward to my next visit.

Made reservations for Thanksgiving 2 weeks in advance. When my friends and I arrived, there were no tables available and after waiting with no one attending to us, they put us upstairs where there was one other couple at a small table. The room was dark, unappealing and appeared not to be ready for any customers compared to the main room which was decorated and lively with people celebrating the holiday. Extremely disappointing and irresponsible on the part of management who it seemed overbooked. To add, the appetizer of "pan seared shrimp" was a salad with 3 shrimps which were not pan seared and dry turkey for the main course. It should be noted that no one checked for vaccination status which is mandated for all indoor dining. A Thanksgiving to forget!

This pub is a bit off the beaten path but it's worth it. Historic Irish bar/building with delicious food/drink and a welcoming staff. Will definitely visit again.
Be the first to ReplyCorned beef is like butter!
I love this area so I went on Saint Patty's day to a place I thought I would get great corned beef and I was not disappointed. In fact it is the best corned beef I have ever eaten. Incredible food! Sourdough toast filled with piles of tender corned beef and a side of crispy fries. I have lived in NY for many years and never have I ever eaten such tender, buttery, yummy corned beef. It was THAT good! I loved it. It was the PERFECT place to enjoy such a fun holiday.
I can't wait to go back for their shepherd's pie.
Oh! AND ---- it's cheap! $12 for an outstanding sandwich with fries.
Very nice place and friendly staff. Everything is clean. Spotless in fact.
Stayed for a lunch, we had
Stayed for a lunch, we had a burger (bad), shepards pie (not good). Service was good though. So, food was nothing special. Just to note, They added 20% tip to the bill automatically.
Would not visit again.
Delicious Food & Fantastic Cocktails
Enjoyed the food more than I expected. Very simple Irish food but superbly prepared. Had a few drinks at the bar before moving onto dinner in the restaurant.
