Great bar
A fun place to sit and converse with friends. Drink prices are reasonable. Never empty always has customers.

Anyone who used to visit a Pappas will reconize the smell of the place. When entering the place itโs unmistakable. Unless your into brightly lite dive bars stay away.

Good prices great food. This is a fun place to visit and enjoy the newly remodeled barroom. If you enjoy Quick Draw the many big screen result monitors are fun to watch

Lots of fried food! Service is good and it's cheap. Wouldn't go running back here again. Portions are large but not great tasting which is what matters.

Stopped in with a friend, had a coupon they didn't use anymore, but was pleasantly surprised. They had a lunch special, countless menu items were $7.00 with a drink. We both had a grilled chicken salad with cranberries, walnuts, feta cheese and iceberg lettuce. Very fresh, about 4-6 oz of chicken. No tax. We both ate for $14.00!!! Enough for leftover.

We ended up at Pappas because the Original Pancake House down the street was full with a super long wait time. We were seated right away at Pappas and our drinks came out pretty quickly. The coffee was kept warm throughout our visit, which was very much appreciated. The menu wasn't huge, but there was a pretty good variety of large and small breakfasts, sides, and specials. The place wasn't very full, but our order still took a little while to come out. When it arrived, it was incorrect - but it was close enough that we didn't send it back. The food was good, despite not being exactly what we ordered. Overall the portions were huge, the service was a bit inconsistent, and the prices were a little high. Next time I might wait in line for the Original Pancake House for breakfast, but I would also give Pappas a try for lunch or dinner.
Be the first to Replyok service but won't be back
looking forward to a good breakfast, we decided to try a long established restaurant, Pappas. I ordered a polish sausage omelet with rye toast, homefries and coffee. Mediocre coffee, dried omelet, and tough over boiled polish sausage (the casing was so tough!) was enough to make me say "I won't be back!"

We always go out for breakfast on the weekends. The chains get old quickly and about a year ago, we began to go to new places. Pappa's was a welcomed surprise. The staff was extremely friendly, the place was clean (remodeling really made a difference), and the atmosphere was relaxing. Their breakfasts are delicious and hot when they are served. We also pay less than when we go to other places and we get more food. Aside from breakfast, we have gone to Pappa's for lunch and dinner. Their sandwiches, soups, and fish frys are excellent! The place is always busy when we go. The staff is friendly, the place clean, and the food is good. What more could you ask for?
Be the first to ReplyKinda lame... no tzatziki...
I should have wondered when we walked in there was only 5 tables of people on a Friday night at 6pm. Missed that clue. We ordered a Reuban melt and open faced Souvlaki and 2 iced teas. The ice teas were sour( like they get when brewed tea sits too long). The reuban was drippy but cooked dark like I like it. The open souvlaki had grilled onions on it as well as raw onions.. good thing I like onions. They were kinda skimpy on the feta cheese. We were unable to properly agitated the dressing because the top didn't seal and made it hard to shake. It came with a very dark toasted pita( It was excellent) I asked the waitress for tzatziki she brings me MAYO with dill. Ummmm I don't think so.. LAME! Hopefully the owners realize their restaurant is going down the crapper and they can save it... if not.. oh well no big loss there.. poor old Pappa would be rolling in his grave right now if he could see what this restaurant turned into.
