Pink Cabana!!!
We visited The Pink Cabana Saturday January 14 for a birthday dinner. Amazing! The entire staff was so kind and welcoming and we immediately felt comfortable. Our meal was delicious and coursed out perfectly. Thank you Valerie for our perfect table and Jackie for orchestrating a wonderful evening. The lemon tart was "davoooon"! Can't wait to return!
Be the first to Replybeautiful patio, tasty food
Stopped in late on chilly night though still enjoyed sitting on beautiful patio. Food tasty, staff very warm and welcoming

This place was recommended to us and we loved it. Dinner was super. Staff friendly and attentive. We had a lovely comfy seating area and we were not rushed at all. Duck and mushroom tagliatelle are a definate must try as well as the key lime cake and chocolate mouse. It place is very cosy with indoor and outdoor seating.
Be the first to ReplyNot as pink as it could be
Had read some good reviews on time out and made the drive out of Palm Springs. It’s not as pink as the website makes out, service was fine if a little cold. Maybe it was missing an atmosphere on a Wednesday night but not the glamorous setting we’d envisaged. Starters were huge and better value than the mains which for $40 weren’t up to scratch - seemed to be trying to be something it wasn’t. Better options in PS that had more flair IMO for similar price and better mixed drinks.
Be the first to ReplyFun decor/vibe, good food, friendly service
We picked a bad night to book - turned out they'd lost a stove and we had only 4 entrees to choose from. But they did call us in advance - we appreciated that. Since it's no longer Ora King Salmon offered, and we weren't in the mood for fish, that left us 2 steak dishes. Steak frites and the chef's cut. Both were cooked perfectly, flavorful and quite tender. I'd opt for the steak frites because the wagyu chef's cut is quite pricey. Fries were way too salty and arugula "salad" was boring. Starter of fritto misto was also a tad salty but pretty tasty with inclusion of fried artichokes and olives. $35 corkage is a lot. Really friendly and helpful staff. Loved the dining room and the vibe - love what the outdoor dining area could be overlooking the pool. We will go back. Parking was easy in the hotel's spaces out front.

At a friends suggestion, we celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Pink Cabana. What an exceptional evening. Yasmin, our waitress, knew her wine selections perfectly and paired them according to our courses. My husband and I ordered the same entree, the Niman Ranch Pork Tenderloin, OMG, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH - SO TENDER - CUT WITH A FORK! All and all a splendid evening. We are coming back next month to celebrate a friends birthday!!! Outstanding service!!

The drinks and dinner was excellent. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and made great drinks. Highly recommend coming to The Pink Cabana.

Out of town and here for vacation. Restaurant is super cute. Cocktails are great!! However food wasn’t worth the price at all. The crowd to was LA not as chill as Palm Springs can be.

The worst service and horrible food! The second time we have come here . Terrible . We were told you CANT order appetizer without ordering dinner . That’s how the night started . Then with the bill .. we had 6 girls and was told at BILL time they could NOT split it … Terrible service , terrible food .

Great decor, good food.. Very confused employees and management. Our party of 10 was treated extremely poorly. We couldn’t sit all together. We were divided up to 3 different tables which made it very hard to hear each other. Each table got their food and drinks at different times. One table didn’t get their drinks till after another table had gotten their drinks and entres. Why they offer 3 different types of water and then don’t serve the ordered water is hard to understand. Why aren’t they able to handle a party of 10? Our server served all three tables and because we paid on one tab the arbitrary 20% tip was added to the bill. When we talked with management about the drinks not being served in a timely manner to one table, the offered a small Apple juice, not to everyone at the table but just 1 customer. I will never return to this restaurant nor recommend it. A very bad experience.

My husband and I were staying at a hotel down the street and decided to stop here for breakfast. The ambiance, food and service were all outstanding!
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding food and superior service
My wife and I went to the Pink Cabana for brunch on the recommendation of a family member. From the moment we arrived, everyone from the busboy to multiple waiters went out of their way to make sure we were well cared for. The staff was super friendly yet professional and worked well with the vibe of the surrounding Sands Hotel. The food was gourmet yet well-priced, the opposite of what you might expect at hotel restaurants. We were there early on a Sunday in mid-June so perhaps they were not as busy as they might be in prime time but it seemed clear to us that the people here are well-versed in taking care of their customers. We can't wait to return!
Be the first to ReplyBad fir dinner- Not worth it- maybe for lunch?
The atmosphere of the Pink Cabana That’s wonderful however that’s the only wonderful thing about it. The drinks were just mediocre and it took a long time for them to be served. The items are over priced and my cauliflower steak was not a cauliflower steak it was a few pieces of cauliflower covered in greens with cilantro whichThe menu never mentioned I hate cilantro. My husband’s lamb shank was also covered in cilantro and when we mentioned it they said oh it was just a garnish. Other peoples portions were very small and overpriced. The Staff was a bit pretentious And the mezzo plate hardly had enough naan bread to go with the hummus and yogurt. They use fancy names for a spice but all it was was hummus and yogurt.
When we asked for a little more bread they charged us another six dollars for a 5 inch round. The appetizer was not worth anything near what they charged. No it was my cauliflower entrée with a few slices of carrots and grapes worth $26. None of us are going back but it was a beautiful setting. The hostess/manager did not even apologize or try to make it right. There are so many other better places to eat.
Great Moms Day brunch!
What an awesome time I had here with my adult daughters for Mother’s Day! We have eaten here before and although the menu is different for brunch it was delicious. Adrian, our waiter, made it super special with his great attention to every detail. Cocktails were great and the food including a salad my daughter says was the best ever, was perfect.
Be the first to ReplyThere was something seriously wrong this night
Reserved our table far in advance because this was on our must do list for a classic midcentury modern eatery. Umm, something is seriously wrong tonight.
Our server tried so hard to overcome issues beyond his control. Food that took far too long (45 minutes for pasta?). Drinks that didn't come up from the bartender. Closing up the patio where we were eating while we were eating. Subpar food. I don't want to continue because it is painful to see this iconic midcentury modern hotel restaurant struggle with customer service and delivery. I hope we were just there on a really bad night. The alternative would be sad.
Fast food
Dinner Rez, always interesting when the food arrives at your table 5 minutes after ordering. Harissa chicken pre made and warmed over.
Be the first to ReplyLovely spot but it ends there.
A romantic vibe and some outdoor seating at night. The menu isn't great and the service is so-so. The food, on the other hand, was C- and over priced. The cocktail and beverage list was inadequate.
