Classic friendly breakfast/brunch cafe, order what you want, fresh & friendly.
Classic cafe for breakfast, brunch & some lunch. Friendly staff, freshly prepared plenty of choice on the blackboard or put your own combo together. Value for money, local spot for regulars and others.

While waiting for our laundry we went there for our brunch . Very friendly staffs. Fry up was not greasy. Good vibes with customers when they seemed to know.

This long established greasy spoon is great good food fast, friendly with atmosphere. Been here for decades and has been consistent over that time. Only problem is that it shut up at 4pm

After my overpriced - and terrible breakfast at Megan's this place is the real deal. I was telling my friend about this, and how people fall the chintz and these big chains... This is on the other hand is a second-generation family-run business, personable, friendly, and with good food and full breakfast choices. Added to that the service is second to none. What's more, it does not rip you off as my photos will attest. I had set no 3 breakfast, which was 2 fried eggs, a Cumberland sausage, beans and homemade bubble and squeak. Delightful. A black tea with my breakfast and a flat white to start. All for £8.40 yep! All came as I asked, without my having to wait, and fetch anything. What's more, it's the sort of cafe where those who eat there actually greet you a good morning, where else do venues entice that in people? It's like the secret smart cub... I have been here a few times before and will be going back there...

It would be rude to call it a greasy spoon but the philosophy of a good old style breakfast and lunch cafe is there, a bit cheek by jowl so mask still advisable but some outside table, good standard breakfast menu and traditional lunch. Parking is difficult don't get caught out. Good value for money, regulars and newbies of all types, newspapers to read, tea in mugs, great.

Wish we’d found it earlier. Delicious”hot”food and friendly service, remembered our order even though they are busy. Clean family run business catering to all our needs. Lucky we found it as good places are hard to find. Glad they survived lockdown.

This place has maintained a strong following since the 80's and is really up there in terms of food quality. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that they offer the best fried eggs AND the best Bubble & Squeak in all of London. The rest of the menu is great too and even their coffee is able to hold its own against all the local high tech coffee shops that surround it.

It's clean and friendly and they use really good quality ingredients. I can't think of anywhere better in West London to have a great Saturday breakfast.

Reasonable price for a big portion of excellent tasty food. We love this place. High customer care and flawless service. Clean place and family atmosphere. Closed on Sunday (what a pity).

As the title says....Excellent food, service and price. 5 stars. Got to be the best cafe in the area.
Be the first to ReplyTimeless classic (just like the other one)
Hadn’t been here for over 20 years (we used to live nearby and visit regularly in the late 90s) but went for breakfast last week and almost nothing has changed. Same family running it, same menu, same fixed Formica tables and plastic chairs. Seriously the only change in more than two decades is a lick of paint on the walls. And it is all the better for it. This a great British caff in the tradition of more famous ones like The Regency in SW1. Highly recommended if you’re in the area - friendly staff, good food and excellent value for money. We also love the fact that, when it opened in the middle of the yuppie 1980s, they chose to call this wholly unpretentious place The Ritz. It even inspired another greasy spoon cafe up the road to call itself Tiffany’s (long since closed unfortunately). Just don’t turn up expecting to enjoy afternoon cream tea with a glass of champagne...
