Just about everything the snow lodge does is poorly
Just about everything the snow lodge does is poorly executed except the actual artists themselves. The venue has massive entrance and exit problems forcing people to shove through the main viewing area just to use the restroom, the staff in the bar are arrogant and rude adding a big tip for themselves without asking, the crowd then becomes rude and aggressive because of the environment they are packed into and that's besides bad food in the restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious restaurant with great vegetarian options.
This is the most beautiful dining experience we found in Aspen. They were also very helpful in accommodating an earlier seating than our original reservation and our request for a booth seat.
Be the first to ReplyRUDEST STAFF EVER.
We made reservations weeks in advance to celebrate my friend's bachelorette weekend. Our server Mitchell C was constantly rushing us from the moment we sat down. We were at around 1 hour and 15 min of our 1.5 hour table time limit, and both the server and another staff member rudely asked us to give up the table and made us get up promptly before we had even finished our drinks. I am in the service industry and am not one to usually write bad reviews, but this was unacceptable. We spent a hefty amount and we're treated in such a disrespectful manner. Hostess was also vaping at the host stand. Very unprofessional.
Be the first to ReplyFun atmosphere for a night out with friends.
Loud, great DJ but enjoyed every minute of it. We ordered 4 branzinos and they were delicious. We also ordered a rigatoni and tagliatelle they were ok. Apps were okay tuna tartar was my favorite but the Brussel sprout salad and arugula salad were also ok nothing super special but still delicious. Service was good. Our server was attentive and quick. Only negative is there is no dessert and they push you out after 2 hours.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolute garbage.
Terrible service, disgusting food. It took 45 minutes past our reservation to get seated, half of the menu wasn't available, we ordered one dish and got served another without warning because they ran out of what we ordered.
Be the first to ReplyFun vibe BUT.
. we were 6 people put at a table for 4 (2 tables for 2 put together) we asked to add the other 2 top that was empty next to us to make it a proper table for 6 and we were told no. The maître d' told us "this is the most popular restaurant in Aspen and if you don't like it you can leave". No one ever sat at the table so we took it over anyway which made the situation even more upsetting as they obviously didn't need the table. It was a common theme, people packed in to tight spaces complaining. Our waitress was great but there's no need to go back when there are so many amazing restaurants in Aspen.
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience in Aspen!!! We were rushed the entire time
Worst experience in Aspen!!! We were rushed the entire time and told we had one hour to eat! Who would book a reservation at an expensive restaurant for 1 hour? Server actually told us we had to leave before even being offered dessert!! Turns out the server was lying and you are supposed to have to table for 1 1/2 hours!! Also told there were no zero alcohol cocktail options except one and then we find out there was a whole menu of options!! My guest asked if she could add ( a splash) of club soda to the drink and was told "no, it's premixed"! When we tried to discuss all of this with the "manager" and express our frustration he just kept saying "what do you want me to do?" Not, I'm sorry or who was your server. Nothing! Finally, when we went to leave the so called manager turns to his friends/co workers and makes disparaging gestures!! Take my advice and don't waste your money in this arrogant, superficial restaurant! I never write reviews but this was such an unpleasant experience from start to finish..I wish we had read previous reviews before wasting $700+ Food is very average and everything is SO rushed! Not worth your time or more importantly your money!! There are plenty of really good options in Aspen where they treat you with respect. Why go out to be treated this way?
Be the first to ReplyAll around a bad experience.
Terrible food and service. Pastas were under cooked, everything was too salty. Service was ok but extremely rushed. Terrible management-- we were charged a $225 no show fee even though we showed up and were told by the host we'd be refunded and that they had us recorded as being there. We emailed to follow up with the receipt from our reservation and they have ignored us and still have yet to refund it.

Wow, when they say come to snow lodge in the hotel it's a must!! DJ was live while eating dinner on a Friday night plus the overall experience was super trendy/set the mood for a fabulous night hot in Aspen. Our server (redhead amazing woman) was the absolute bestttt! She gave us incredible recommendations and was on top of everything. I was so happy with my winter my cocktail and ginormous chicken dish. My friends got a variety of things like the bruschetta and salads and pasta and everyone was pleasantly pleased. Plus dancing off the calories with everyone after dinner definitely left us In incredibly happy moods. We were recommended to come here from the summer house star boyfriend and it didn't disappoint! Will share with all my friends who visit :)
Be the first to ReplyOk so I was debating going here so hopefully this helps
Ok so I was debating going here so hopefully this helps someone. We went on a Saturday at 7 in the dining room. We were seated promptly. Our table was oddly small and close to the table next to ours. Our food and drinks were bought our very quickly. Appetizers, dinner, dessert took an 1 hour tops. Our server Jasmine, was very nice. The food was good. The decor was really cool. The dj was great and overall I'd say it was a good experience. But it felt like more of a club with food than a restaurant with a dj. If you are looking for a fine dining experience this is not your place. If you like electronic music and are looking for a vibey place with drinks and some food then this spot is great. Truly peak Aspen "scene."
Be the first to ReplyRestaurant like 75% empty but terrible service.
Winter burrata and tomatoes good. Branzino way too salty.
Be the first to ReplyWorst meal and service I've had in Aspen full stop! No
Worst meal and service I've had in Aspen full stop! No sooner had we finished our appetizers before even taking the plates away the waitress said, are you ready for your main course and we said we needed a minute . The food was immediately brought out and it was cold! If we ordered appetizers, how could the main course come out cold before the appetizers are barely finished? When I asked the waitress about this, she gave me a very condescending response about how the kitchen Works and they put the order in all at once, and blah blah blah. From start to finish, they rushed us out of there in less than an hour close to 45 minutes for a supposedly nice restaurant, located in The St. Regis the service and the food was well below par.
Be the first to ReplyIf I could leave zero stars, I would.
I'm also leaving this review not only for myself, but at least 20-30 other individuals that had a similar experience tonight. We had a 915pm reservation and were told upon arriving on time, that they were "running behind". Finally at 10pm after we were told a table was open but then was not - we left. We also spoke with multiple other groups that had been waiting longer than and hour with reservations that there was no end in sight as to when they would be seated. In sum, do NOT go here. The disorganization, lack of empathy, lack of leadership, lack of caring, and lack of communication is the worst I have ever seen. The St. Regis should be ashamed of themselves, their brand, and the way they treat human beings that attempt to spend money at their establishment. Avoid going to this hotel and this restaurant at all costs - unless you like waiting and not eating.
Be the first to ReplyPork was leather, pasta was so "Al dente" that it was hard.
Soup arrived like warm.Truffle sauce was some butter and sliced truffles, I could have done better at home. Service was terrible and bordered on rude.
Be the first to ReplyThis is NOT a restaurant -- it is a tourist trap/bar.
Had reservations for 8 on a Friday, last day of vacation.  The hostess appeared to be drunk.  She tried to seat us at a 6 top -- how do I know -- it was a hexagon, but ignoring basic shapes from pre-school, she said it was big enough for eight.  We had the older kids with us and this was not a supper club or a restaurant -- DJ spinning, dance floor, could not hear any conversation ... fun for a bar, but not a restaurant.  We left and ate at the hotel because this place sucked so badly.  DO NOT EAT HERE.
Be the first to Replymy first visit to the Snow lodge did not disappoint .
i want to start with the hostess- friendly, outgoing and she answered all our questions with no hesitation. The food was amazing. To start we had rice balls, Baratta and calamari.  For our entrees we ordered chicken malanese and pasta bologanes.  We were not disappointed in our choices and  the servings were big. Our server Chris was  on point. He anticipated our every need.We were also fortunate  to have had a live performance by Lukus Nelson during our dinner.  it was an unexpected hit!Thank you Snow Lodge for a great evenin.
Be the first to ReplyI'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about.
I had dinner on Valentines Day with my husband a group of friends. We all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. Upon arrival my husband and I ordered cocktails. Mine was a special old fashioned (can't remember the name and don't see it listed in the online menu) it was slightly smoky and the best cocktail that I had in Aspen. It took a little bit of doing to have our table setup, but they graciously accommodated an extra person in our party. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe, it was good but maybe slightly too Al dente, and the side of sautéed mushrooms which was fabulous. My husband had the Lobster Risotto which he really seemed to enjoy. A friend ordered the squash "ravioli" more of a tortellini shape but they were delicious and fresh. For dessert, my husband and I had a wonderful chocolate hazelnut ice cream concoction. The dinner started with a dj then a pianist/singer played. He was great and sounded like Elton John. Overall, everyone had a great dinner and time.
Be the first to ReplyThe is the worst all around restaurant i have been to in
The is the worst all around restaurant i have been to in Aspen in 30 years. Right to the point- our reservations were at 9pm for valentines dinner. We were seated promptly but as soon as we walked through the dining room doors i noticed EXTREMELY loud band playing (which personally drives me crazy, I go to dinner to chat not to listen to music-but thats just a personal pet peeve- nothing against the band). Our waiter comes over promptly to order our drinks and i wasn't in the drinking mood so i ordered a shirley Temple and Holli ordered ice tea. Well they didn't have either so that was the  second strike. We ordered Goat cheese bread, tuna tartare, oysters. They came out promptly and the goat cheese bread was great. The oysters were fresh but rather large (which is not my taste, but doesn't deserve a strike). The tuna tartare is average and i would never order it again. We ordered the Chicken Milanese and Rib eye. I will start with the eye- it was really good a 9 out of 10. My daughter and i both ordered the chicken and both were inedible... the capers had zero flavor and the actual chicken was inedible. We each took two small bites out it and stopped. Zero flavor whatsoever. We asked for the chicken to be on some pasta and they wouldn't do it so we had to order the bucatini also. The bucatini was a 2 out of 10. Also zero flavor. At this point it was about 10:20, which is insanely slow. We sat at 9pm.....an hour and twenty minutes later we received our main meals. This is not acceptable. We finished our main's quickly and they took our desert order probably around 10:40. WE SAT THERE FROM 10:40 UNTIL 11:14PM until the desert came. There was not one person eating anything as we sat there and the waiter kept telling us he was sorry for the delay. This desert was some special thing for V-Day but was not worth eating. This was the worst service and food i have had in a restaurant in Aspen that i can remember. It was almost comical. How does it take almost 35 minutes to bring out desert??????? on a side note the waiter had a very odd demeanor and aggression to him. This is my first review in years and i raced home to write it as no-one should ever waste $368 on a 3 person dinner at this place....
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful space with pleasing food .
Love the friendly staff and west a great musical lineup
Be the first to ReplyI've made a huge tiny mistake coming here.
This is a hard 2 star for dinner. Start with the positives then work down.... Ambiance is fun, they've got a middle aged sweaty dude playing some fun beats and the classic Aspen sceney folks inside. Service is attentive and friendly The food was borderline inedible. Pizzas were impossibly bad. Red was Ragu sauce on stale cardboard... white pizza made me physically ill. Made Red Baron frozen taste deserving of a Michelin star. Bite of steak took 90 seconds to chew and get down. Â Pure A1 painService again was delightful
Be the first to ReplyCame here for a dinner with friends during our trip.
The reservation promised "an experience". From the start we were confused about where we were going to sit since the reservation was for a patio and numerous people at the St Regis didn't know where it was. The menu was uninspiring and terrible. I ordered the romanesco cauliflower. It came out blackened and cold. I sent it back only to receive a second order thag was slightly less burnt/ blackened. The musician was good and the ambience was a scene to be seen but nothing was worth the money or premium for food and drinks.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was at times inedible.
The experience was inconsistent as some staff members were attentive and others significantly delayed in every request and order made. The vibe and drinks are the only reason to visit this spot. Stay at the bar if you're set on visiting, enjoy the live DJ and find dinner elsewhere. The Espresso Martini was on point and the only thing I would recommend in its current state.
Be the first to ReplyWas there last week.
One of the most disappointing dinners I've ever had. Service was slow and our server had little knowledge of the menu items. Desserts were lack luster and the presentation was depressing. The best part of the meal was the espresso martini. Â Feels like more was invested in the music than the menu.
Be the first to ReplyThese people literally have zero clue.
Every person who worked there seemed angry, flustered, and confused.  We got a reservation confirmation via email to attend an apres event.  We arrived on time and literally there is a (small) line like a club (at the St Regis - def cheapens what is supposedly a respected luxury resort).  We were given wrist bands but told no bottle service was available (unclear) then instructed to get drinks at the bar.  The bartender was angry and said "sorry we don't give free drinks" as if we were saying wrist bands included drinks?  We were only following the confusing instructions we were given and never once asked for free drinks.  We then went into the music tent (completely empty - again unclear) and were rudely told there is a minimum.  What they did was profile us and condescendingly said it was too much for two people even when we asked what it was and to seat us immediately.  We live in Beverly Hills, and frankly are accustomed to situations way more intense than this place tries to pose as.  Regardless, no one should ever be treated that way or profiled.  They are losing money through this approach and clearly need professional consultation on how to run a business that caters to an upscale clientele. The St. Regis should evaluate having such a poser and laughable circus on their property.
