Lovely little italian!
We went here on our way home from the NEC. It was not hard to find, but is the last house in a row of shops and parking was across the road by the Co-op shop. They were very welcoming, and the food was amazing! Such great flavours! A lovely end to a busy day. Thank you

This is a little gem of a place. We first visited when our neighbour booked a table of 16 people for her husbands birthday. The food was amazing and hospitality second to none. We have visited again and the food and service was exceptional. Everything is cooked fresh. The prices are very reasonable too. They are closed during the day through the week so please do not think the place has closed down. It is open during the evening through the week and all day Saturday and Sunday. It is lovely to find a local restaurant with amazing food and service. Please support this brilliant little restaurant.

Tradita is a local gem and a great place that in all honesty we don't visit enough. We've had amazing food everytime we have gone and even better service! Definitely recommend the lasagne and tiramasu! Lovely atmosphere and fairly priced.

Tiny place on a row of uninspiring shops. Don’t let it’s location put you off.I have been saying for a long time that there is a lack of small independent eateries locally.Found this by accident when I was trying to locate a restaurant we had visited previously. The young lady who was looking after diners was lovely, polite and friendly, an absolute credit to the restaurant. Food cooked fresh , delicious and piping hot Great menu choices. We will be returning and spreading the word.Thank you for a lovely evening see you soon. ,

I took my mom here tonight based on recommendations from TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed! Friendly, attentive staff, out of this world food, great atmosphere, I enjoyed it so much, I've booked to go back in a month. The portions are very generous and I needed a wheelbarrow to get my stomach out of there. This is my new 'go to' restaurant. Brilliant!!

Couldn’t rate Tradita anymore highly. My husband and I have been before and the food has always been second to none. Today we came for my mum’s birthday and could not fault the food - it was excellent. All three courses were delicious and we all commented that the tiramisu was the best we’d ever eaten (we’ve eaten a fair few!). The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. Even though the restaurant looks small on the outside please don’t be put off - you walk into a very well decorated interior. We will be back!

A small hidden gem - we came 3 people and all enjoyed the food. We had a huge set of starters and pasta for mains - it all tasted so well, and we really enjoyed the attention we got from the chef and the girl serving us. Thank you so much for a great dinner!

We live local and pass this place daily a d have always wanted to eat here! Last night 19th March we popped by just on the off chance of getting a table. Luckily enough we had the last table in there!
All I can say is that this has got to be one of the nicest food places we have eaten in, in this country. The presentation was beautifully done ( sharing tapas)
And for mains we also shared a meat calzone with chips. You will not be hungry after leaving here!
The staff cook the food in an open kitchen which is lovely and you know it’s all fresh
Our waitress (Amy) I think her name is, was lovely and attentive
We will most definitely be returning and will be recommending to friends and family
Outstanding breakfast in all aspects
We visited Tradita on a Saturday morning at 9.15 for our first visit..but we'll definitely be back. We ordered two coffees, two fruit juices, a breakfast pizza and a small breakfast. Small?? The pizza was 12" and my brerakfast had everything you could think of! But here's the thing: instead of the usual cheap bacon and sausages at other places, these were top quality: really tasty and fuill of flavour. The coffe was delicious too. Bill was £23.
Tradita justly deserves all its wonderful reviews. The atmosphere is intimate and cosy, the staff very friendly and efficient: it's a top place to eat. Recommended without reservation!
Be Amazed !
From the first phone call to book the table I knew I had made the right choice . Amy was so friendly and helpful. The evening couldn’t have been better … the food and service was exceptional and we were spoilt for choice . This is a restaurant that should be on your ‘must visit’ list - you wont be disappointed! Enjoy your experience!
We went after visiting Crufts and the Belgium team had won the fly ball event that day and they too were there having an incredible evening meal !
Meal after working at the NEC Birmingham
Absolutely amazing little gem. We had been working at the NEC all week and wanted to eat out on the Saturday night. I found this restaurant on Tripadvisor with excellent reviews so thought we’d give it a go. Fantastic food, lovely staff and a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning when we do our next show in October…..

We went to Tradita last night for the first time it was hands down one of the nicest restaurants we have been to. Amy is lovely and can’t do enough for you, she is smiley and chatty nothing was too much for her. As for the food it was amazing we had to compliment the chef at the end of our meal as everything she made was fresh and tasty. We would 100% recommend eating here and we will 100% be back when visiting family. Thank you for a lovely evening! Any also makes great cocktails!

Went with the fam for my wife’s birthday and it was fab. For starters we had…calamari, pork ribs, bruschetta and the Gamberoni and Salami. Could’ve licked the plates clean if it wasn’t for eating out etiquette (wouldn’t be surprised if my son did whilst I weren’t looking).
Mains we had sea bass, pizza with pepperoni, vegetable risotto, and the special of Swordfish. All delicious. Chips were phenomenal and the potatoes were really good, onion rings weren’t the best.
Deserts we had the Crème Brûlée, Tiramisu, and chocolate fudge cake. Again absolutely fabulous.
Chef did a fabulous job as did the waitress Paris who served us excellently.
10/10 can’t wait for a reason to go back as the only problem we had was deciding what to order.
Can’t believe we haven’t been here sooner.
Very Nice Little Restaurant
Went for my wife's 40th birthday and despite some confusion with my online booking the very friendly staff sorted us a table with no fuss at all. Food was excellent however the portion sizes are very generous so bear that in mind if your thinking about dessert lol. The staff serving us were very relaxed and friendly which helped to make our evening very enjoyable and we will definitely be returning. We'll done guys.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Gem of a restaurant.
Have been to Tradita a few times now. The food and service is impeccable.
We are almost treated like family everytime we visit.
Amy is the best waitress i have ever known. Nothing is to much trouble and such a lovely young lady. The surroundings are rustic and give a real sense of character and cosyness.
Unlike nearly all the italian restaurants i have visited which are way over priced, for food of this quality the price is an absolute bargain. If you are from the uk or abroad you have to pay this place a visit.
You will not be disappointed.
