Trishna London Reviews from The Last Year
Exceptional Service Delicious Food
I will start off by saying that I found the service at this restaurant to be among the best I have ever had. The lobster was cooked perfectly and they had the most unique scallops I ever had. Brown crab lives up to its billing. The venison dish was also a hit. My one comment is that the tasting menu is a lot more food than you might anticipate due to accompaniments. Itβs not a bad thing, but come having fasted for a bit.
Everything perfect
This is not just the best Indian food ever but up there with the best ever any kind of cuisine Iβve tasted. Service wonderful. Food incredible- how can you make broccoli taste like that? Best gin and tonic. Went there with a voucher given for Christmas present. Iβll definitely go back

Having lunch at Trishna was a wonderful experience! The food is the best Indian food I have ever had, and you can't beat the value for dining at a Michelin restaurant! Great staff who really want you to have a wonderful experience!
Refined Indian food
Refined Indian food prepared and seasoned excellently We had tandori lamb for dinner, crab prepared in a delicious way, and some shrimp with a delicious sauce The bread, a detail not to be missed Excellent attention
Fantastic Indian Food
Went for a birthday celebration. They happened to have an Easter menu which ran to four courses with plenty of choice. Three of us chose different items from the menu and all of the food was excellent and plentiful. This is the best Indian food I've had in London. Staff were great and service was super.
Indian gastronomy
Michelin-starred not bad for the cuisine (the place could be a little more maintained), but I've had better ones in London. On the other hand, the flavors are there and in sufficient quantity! Very attentive staff as well.
Both the food and service at Trishna are truly exceptional.
Both our waitress and the sommelier were friendly and eager to please. Although they are known as one of the most price conscious Michelin stars in London, their food is amazing and you should absolutely splurge on the tasting menu and wine pairings, Β£180 combined. We loved the bread service with chutneys, the guinea fowl, and the lamb. I also really liked that they served gin from India. Perhaps what was most impressive was how well they paired wine with the bold flavors of their food. Every pairing was a wonderful match elevating the already excellent food. The space is intimate, but sleek. And we perfect seat in the front window. Overall we loved our dinner at Trishna.

I've been trying to find the words to describe my experience at Trishna, and to be honest, I'm not positive I'll ever truly find the words to do it justice. We were not entirely sure what to expect from our visit here, but it's safe to say that it surpassed anything we could've even imagined. My partner and I both chose to do the tasting menu, largely choosing different plates so we could try a number of different dishes. Gotta say, I highly recommend this as the way to go. I could rave for hours about how incredible each individual dish was, but I will simply list a few standouts: - Nandu Varuval - Coconut and Curry Leaf Scallop - Tandoori Lamb Chop - Gongura Lamb There was not a single dish out of the dozen or so we tried that I wouldn't order again, but these four in particular were mindblowing. It's been a few months since our visit, and I still dream about the Gongura Lamb. All of the flavors we had were exceptional, and the service was incredible to boot. Trishna was not only our favorite meal in London, but one of our favorite meals overall to date. Michelin like I've never previously experienced. I cannot recommend enough making a reservation and swinging by for a meal that will change your life.
OMG so much food!! Felt bad I couldn't finish it all!
OMG so much food!! Felt bad I couldn't finish it all! Everything was good to great. The service was super friendly, just top notch. Gave it four instead of five stars mostly because I thought the final plate just didn't live up to the rest of the tasting menu. But all in all a great meal!
Memorable lunch at a Michelin Restaurant.
I decided to visit Trishna having initially planned to try Gymkhana. The emphasis on seafood at Trishna persuaded me to change my venue. I opted to have the lunchtime Tasting Menu. 4 courses were available, I had 3 courses as follows: Telicherry squid and shrimps, dill and pepper salmon, Gongura lamb. Cooking of each course was faultless. The Telicherry squid and shrimps was one of the best Indian starters I have had. The salmon was beautifully cooked with a pink centre. The Gongura Lamb was a real show stopper with chettinad potatoes, dal, rice and naan. Service was professional and efficient. I was one of the first to arrive and the room filled with patrons rapidly. Each table was served in a welcoming and friendly manner.
Wonderful time. Special shout out to Manesh!!
Firstly, service. I have sought to go to more premium and fine dining restaurants in the last year. This was hands down and far and away the best service we have received bar none. Manesh (sorry for spelling) served us, and provided serving sequence recommendations and more throughout the meal. He was exceedingly polite, genuine and conversational, but not in the awkward or over the top way others often do. The other staff were also very polite and fitting for a 1 Michelin star, but I will be surprised if I find somewhere surpassing Maneshβs service. Went late in the evening, but was never rushed at all. Stuck with the vegetarian options and no alcohol, so bill was not excessive, and thoroughly enjoyed the food we received. Lighting and setting were pleasant even though the window had the scaffolding view. My girlfriend and I were talking about the time long after we left, and have been comparing against here ever since. Thank you Trishna team, and thank you Manesh!
Decent, but expensive
Just not as good as I'd hoped. Β£300 bill for 2 people, with no alcohol is all you need to know. The venison was literally 5 star - seriously amazing. Everything else, a bit indifferent. I liked the informality, but the price way too high given the experience. I must stress, service was very good. This was bill vs food.
amazing experience.
tasting menu and wine pairings were spectacular. service was excellent all around. intimate setting in a lovely area of london.
Β£1 charity donation on the bill is inappropriate
Great food and pleasant waitstaff but it was very inappropriate that they put a Β£1 charity donation on the bill. Nobody who dines there would care about the Β£1. But itβs wrong on principle. Itβs tantamount to taking Β£1 out ouf someoneβs pocket and saying it will go to charity (unless you ask back for it). I do my own charity and I donβt like to be hustled about it in that manner when I go out dining.
Underwhelmed
Iβve been eager to get a table here again after 3 years but itβs always fully booked. I was happy to get a 9pm table for when my Dad was in town. I have to say i was a bit underwhelmed. After being seated and given water, no one came back for ages and it was about 25m before we ordered a drink. We didnβt really understand the menu either, and couldnβt hear or understand what the waiter was saying about the dishes. We ended up with 2 very hot curries and some kind of pulled beef rib thing that we didnt really want we just laughed. I think we were all out of our depth, everything we ate was exceptionally hot, so I canβt comment on the flavour. Perhaps Iβm being unfair to the lover of hot food, but we were definitely out of our depth here. The general reviews are fantastic and I have had a nice meal here before, id just act with caution unless you love hot food.
This is easily my fav place to eat in London.
The staff is EXCEPTIONAL. the food is outrageous delicious. My Top 3 Indian restaurants i have ever been to.
The best Indian food I ever tasted in my life.
No wonder it's a Michelin resto! Wow. By far my favorite spot in London.
Wow this was perhaps the best Indian food I've ever had.
I suggest you opt for the Tasting Menu which offers both a vegetarian and meat/poultry based. I went with the vegetarian menu and thoroughly enjoyed every dish presented. I paired my selection with a nice carafe of Riesling which really brought out the flavors even more. Staff are friendly, helpful and informed. Can't recommend enough.
Excellent food, cocktail and service.
I would expect when wine is poured to have customer taste it before a full glass is poured. That's just customary in any restaurant that serves wine. Unfortunately not followed and wine that was poured was oxidized and lacked taste. As everything else was exceptional I just didn't send the wine back.
Straight up amazing.
I make it a tradition to go to one upscale meal on vacation, and Trishna was a great choice. Having a Michelin star, my expectations were very high and they were definitely met. We first started with the drinks which were amazing; we then proceeded to order the short rib, scallops, paneer, and samoas. Think traditional Indian food with a slight experimental touch. Please note that the servings are very generous. Two entries and an appetizer should be enough for two people. In terms of the customer service, all the staff is very helpful and cordial. And they are happy to explain the menu. As for the environment, it is a perfect place for a nice get-together or a date. Quick tips, you will need a reservation if you arrive later at night. However, if you get there at the opening, you might be able to get a walk-in appointment. Thank you, Trishna for a wonderful night in London!

Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been βmatchedβ with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Payouts
Anyone know how increase payout transfer to bank as I can only send $50 a day and they charge $5 for every transaction. There must be a way. Iβve contacted support two days ago and not a reply.

Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!
