As written before, Yelp allows expatriates and Europeans to freely express themselves with f words and rancorous reviews if we don't like a place and the staff. That's the freedom Facebook or TA won't allow you, but Yelp, hell, yes, for us around the world, these SF beatches will close both eyes.. If you don't either, just don't read me and unfriend me, my life won't change of a comma and I'll be rid of hypocrites. Now, review of this farm house pretending to be a high class joint will allow me to make good use of the effin letter. A pretty farm house downtown Milano full of fckd up fake leftists with fake smiles, fake attitudes and big bank accounts, eating crap at indecently high prices. Horrendous service for shitty food and bad manners, they deserve what they pay for. As for me, I came, I looked the fckd ups standing around and the shit served at tables and won by leaving this dump to Milanese fashion victims and wannabes.
Be the first to ReplyCute spot that my local friends frequent.
ย I came for dinner last time I came to Milan a couple of years ago, and for brunch on this visit. Personally, I preferred the brunch to the dinner as the glass covered patio is lovely in the daytime. We shared a lovely cheese and prosciutto plate to start and I had the fish of the day as of main. It was nothing too special, but was fresh and light, which was exactly what I wanted. ย The ingredients here all seem fresh and high quality, and nothing is too heavy, even if you order a pasta dish (which we did at dinner). Not a meal that you'll remember for the rest of your life, but one that will make you feel like you are experiencing Milan like a local does.Note: This is a very kid friendly brunch spot. ย They have a babies only menu and are very accommodating of strollers and children; there is even an area outside for children to run around. For you, this will either be a positive or a negative.TIP: Make sure to ask for the off menu dessert items from the bakery. The Tiramisu is to die for!

A great escape from the city to have lunch !It is a bit outside of the city center but with the metro easily accessible. It has to look and feel of a farm. You can enter via a courtyard and there you have a restaurant. You can choose between the take out and eat in a room where it's more self-service.I took a sandwich and a soup and it was really good. The house wine was also very good (but where not in italy?).The interior is really cool, it looks like all handmade stuff with a mix of vintage stuff. The place was packed but you still feel very relaxed here. It is a more alternative place. Nothing posh. Place to recommend to have lunch. I'll go for sure to try out the restaurant for a dinner.

I really like the place, although it's a little bit confusing. The entrance of the actual restaurant is small and you don't know who to ask to.The bar has delicious snacks and bite to get like a self-service. I had a healthy quinoa salad, a mini panini and a small fruit tart. My friend had focaccia and a fresh fruit salad really tasty. We got drinks at the counters and water is free! I really appreciate it.The restaurant meal options seem delicious too. Can't wait to come back and try it, but I think is better reserve a table. The place was pretty packed for the all time I was there.Don't forget to take a look around! The garden is wonderful, with comfy chairs to relax and look at the cascina. Next to the entrance there is also a small shop with organic local products. An oasis in Milano!
Be the first to ReplySo this place is split into two parts, sorta.
One section is a sit down where you get served and there is a menu. The other section is more casual where you go and buy your food and find an empty table to sit at (sorta like fast food)I tried the "fast food" section. Got a selection of meatballs, olives, focaccia, cheese, etc. It went well with white wine.Definitely will come back.
