Victoria Paris Reviews
Fun atmosphere but double check your bill for extra charge
The atmosphere is classy and fun. The food is average for price. Nothing amazing. The music was fun. Waiters were lively but upsold everything. We got charged an additional 180€ worth of drinks.” That we didn’t order. The bill is in tiny font and I believe considering our overall bill, they thought we wouldn’t notice. We got the typical ‘ I’m new here’ answer. Surprisingly this happened to us 2 other times at other Paris nicer restaurants where an additional charge was added and we had to have them correct the bill. Overall impression is it was a fun night but like most people, I don’t like to be taken advantage of. It just leaves a negative impression and I would rather go elsewhere.
Don’t go
During my visit to Victoria Paris, I was shocked by the doorman’s attitude. From the moment we arrived, he loudly commented on our outfits and their prices, drawing attention from other guests, especially women. This behavior was not only inappropriate but also humiliating. He acted like he was someone important, behaving with an inflated sense of superiority, as if he were above the clients.
The best way to spend my 30th birthday!
The best all-rounder, hands down! I came here for my 30th birthday meal and had the best night. The food was delicious, staff extremely friendly and the vibe is just unmatched - our table was near to the windows overlooking the Arc de Triomphe which just felt so special. Food wise, I had the black pepper tuna for mains and it was *chefs kiss*! They have a DJ playing chilled house to begin with and then as the evening progresses the music turns up and it is back-to-back hits - we were all up on our chairs dancing the night away. Soooo much fun, I can’t recommend highly enough!
The highlight of our Paris weekend
We had an amazing night at Victoria Paris for my hen. We thought the food was really nice, we had the set sharing menu. The atmosphere aswell was so much fun. It was the highlight of our Paris weekend!
Rude disrespect waitress and I ought to report to the police
I have never left a negative review but what happened last night left me so shocked I feel compelled to speak out. I had a deeply disappointing experience at Victoria during an early seating on a quiet Monday night, when I was there to celebrate my birthday. While dining, I began breastfeeding my baby discreetly at the table. Despite the calm atmosphere and the clear lack of disruption to anyone around us, a staff member approached me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable—suggesting I stop or move elsewhere. I was shocked and embarrassed. Breastfeeding in public is fully legal in France, and being shamed for caring for my child was not only inappropriate, but discriminatory and unlawful. No parent should ever feel ashamed for feeding and comforting their child. I sincerely hope Victoria’s management takes steps to educate their staff and ensure that no other mother is made to feel so unwelcome. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values respect, inclusivity and basic human rights.
Shame!!!!
No comment. I booked two months in advance to celebrate my birthday and the same day they canceled my reservation by pretending that I had called to confirm without receiving an answer. I was never contacted by email or by phone. Shame..you ruined my birthday.
Amazing food in unique atmosphere
Amazing food and atmosphere. Start with the artichoke salad and burrata. Highly recommend the filet and riggatoni truffle. Great overall experience,
Perfect
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire restaurant team for making my sister's birthday so memorable! The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the atmosphere festive thanks to the lively music of the DJ. A big thank you to all the chefs, waiters, waitresses and the manager for their professionalism and dedication. You really helped make this event special for my sister and our family!
Amazing
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the entire restaurant team for helping to make my daughter's 18th birthday celebration so special! The cuisine was divine, the service impeccable and the atmosphere lively thanks to the lively music of the DJ. A big thank you to all the chefs, waiters, waitresses and the manager and restaurant for their dedication and professionalism. You truly made this event unforgettable for my daughter and our family!
Festive evening
We came with friends for a relaxing dinner Loud music almost disturbing at the beginning, we asked the waiter to turn down the sound, which he did, but we set the fire at the end of the evening carried away by the atmosphere
More than disappointed
To book, you must have a credit card despite this, we are poorly received and thrown out at the slightest opportunity, simply because we have to respond to a security service which is itself very very rude, a report the quality and price of the place should be avoided, there are many other restaurants to do in Paris
Poor service
We were there for the Wednesday Velvet night. While the location and table was excellent, the service was very poor. We were only seated for about 30 minutes and didn’t even finish our food and drinks and the server asked to move us to sit us at the bar that didn't even have a seat for us. The minute we got up they sat another couple down. We stood for a couple minutes eventually paying for an overpriced meal that didn't sum up. Be prepared to pay extra for a disservice.
None null none
Escfi check the prices and your bills carefully, the waiters do not say many things. Nothing exceptional really ever again the managers are super unpleasant. You are made to feel that if you are not happy you can leave. Much better places in the capital by being well received and well served.
We smell racism!
We smell racism! Went with African friends and felt like we weren't welcome. I was warned but I went anyway so very disappointed!!! Plus the food is not wow! It's way too expensive for what it is
Very disappointing
I went there with friends for a birthday. Very disappointing, apart from the atmosphere, it was the service, the food and the behavior of the managers which made me particularly uncomfortable, I absolutely do not recommend this establishment! I thought I would have a lovely evening, but it was a failure!
Unbelievable...
Unbelievable. What a crazy night... A weirdo Dj, awfull dishes, (I recommend you the Pates à la bechamel, commonly called the truffles Pastas.) I'll not talk about the service because the waiter wasn't there. A lot of people will say that it's a Festive Restaurant so we can not expect any delicious dishes. I agree. We were here for the ambiance, not for the food. But the ambiance was so cringe, the dj seemed to work usually in Camping Paradise, not on that type of restaurant. I will not talk about the prices, because we all like fancy restaurants. We are used to pay big bills. But the bill was not proportional to the expectations. Sorry for that type of comment but that's illegal to be that weird and disgusting.
Disappointing
The place is still beautiful. However, the staff lacks elegance and style. At reception, the young ladies only greet the man, not the woman. To get you to eat, they send you to the bar where you cannot sit, while you set the table, that is, add two glasses...the food is OK. The service is strange, the customer is not the center of interest. a definite lack of manners. VS The atmosphere is correct, even if the luxury and the star have disappeared.
My husband and I came here because there was an error in
My husband and I came here because there was an error in our original reservations at another restaurant and it was great. The server was attentive and recommended great selections of wine & food. We had the barata and the branzino with Japanese broccoli. It was very good. The bread that was served as an appetizer was yummy too. There is also a wonderful backdrop of the Arc de Tromphie ! I would come back for sure .
Expensive restaurant with very poor quality food and service.
We had diner friday february 6th. We had to wait a long time at the entrance while it was not busy inside. The man at the door could not read at his device for reservations. Inside it was not busy but the waiter gave us a table next to kitchen entrance. The waiter was very nice, but when we decided not to order a bottle of wine he was not motivated or interested anymore. I ordered fish there was only a peace of fish on the plate. Mashed potatoes were on a separate plate. So it looked very poor. So food and service were very dissapointed.
Bad service and worse food
Don’t order cocktails! They don’t know how to make them. Porn star martinis were super sour. The drinks were so bad! 3 Strawberry mojitos were sent back to get sorted, they still didn’t get it right. When we got some attention after 15 minutes to tell the waiter we want something else as they taste horrible he was rude and said you have a had a big sip! I told him take them back and charge us if he thinks we are trying to be cheap but get us different drinks as these were horrendous! Extremely rude! Then the food came to us stone cold! I mean shrivelled up French fries. Hard sauce on the truffle pasta, undercooked raw chicken. They took 15 minutes to even take the dishes away then slightly reheated them in the microwave and brought us back. Needless to say we hardly touched our food! Extremely disappointing! We would have walked out had we been home. Let’s take positives/ DJ was super friendly and brilliant! He got people up and dancing and moved from genre to genre seamlessly. The manager a Shri Lankan guy very good. Tried to sort some things but failed over all to impress. The crowd was friendly and nice. The bill was high and they had charged for 6 fries and 4 broccolis when we had ordered 2 each. So check your bill. They manager did take off some money off the bill but paying over a €1200 for 6 of us when we didn’t even eat was unfair. I wouldn’t mind paying it had they got the food and the service right. Too many things are wrong. A mistake can be forgiven they are in dire need of training on the floor. I wouldn’t be going back!
Simply Bizarre and Beware
We booked here because friends recommended it. It was a Tuesday evening. All the staff were wearing red bath robes... apparently what they do on Tuesdays. We booked at 8.30 pm and were surprised to be alone there. It was dimly lit - hard to even see the menu. Having recently enjoyed fish meals when visiting the Algarve, Portugal (where they cost EUR 15-18) 3 of the 4 of us ladies opted to share a sea bass... but it was certainly a very different experience, and we feel we were tricked! After we waited AGES they brought an ENORMOUS fish - enough to feed the 5000 (or at least 6 people with much bigger appetites than ours) and they set to serving it to us. It was a real hazard eating it in the darkness with the stray bone left in it, and it wasn't cooked through. The rest of the dishes we ordered were pleasant enough, and we had a nice bottle of wine (cost about EUR 95). When we got the bill we were astonished and dismayed to see they charged us about EUR 400 for the fish - absolutely outrageous!!! An absolute 'tourist trap', which was an unpleasant shock - and certainly a big lesson. Beware... and be precise...
Great atmosphere, wonderful food with knowledgeable staff. Don’t be “dumb” American.
The food was unique and incredible. Highly recommended the appetizer. Wine list starts about $100 and goes up very quickly. In Saturday night, we could only have the table for two hours. This wasn’t a problem, and we weren’t rushed, but suggest that you review the menu prior to arrival. This is a French Place and therefore the pace is attentive but not rushed. We will be back.

I booked this restaurant a few weeks in advance, we were coming to Paris to celebrate my friend's birthday. In the morning of that day I've got a text message from the restaurant that my reservation is at 20:00, but we have to leave the table at 22:00!!! Can you imagine?? Just two hours for the birthday celebration! I didn't have time to find another restaurant, because I knew that they have DJ at night and I basically didn't have time to find another one. The food was pretty good, but the stuff was terrible! The waiters had face expression like we came there to eat for free! I felt very unwelcome there. And I would definitely fire the hostess /administrator of that restaurant, if I was the owner! When I was talking to her trying to figure out what exactly happened and if we can pay extra just to stay there, she told me not to raise my voice at her!! It was so rude, because I was talking to her absolutely normally! And yes, the birthday celebration was just for two hours, we paid more than €600 for 4 people and they asked us to leave the table! I live in Miami, so we have tons of amazing restaurants! Also I have been in great places in Milan, London, Moscow, etc and I can tell that the service in this place is the worst! It was the worst choice to celebrate birthday!! By the way, the DJ was just ok there, they could do better! Never coming there again! I have never been treated that bad! So, for me it was the worst experience ever!!

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Victoria Paris at 6 PM the same day.

That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* MaternalRecord73, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* MaternalRecord73 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to MaternalRecord73 for any questions Peter may have as MaternalRecord73 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* MaternalRecord73 now uses their connections at Victoria Paris to secure the table.
