Watertable Baltimore Reviews from The Last Year
nothing fancy but the ambiance and views were decent.
A little overpriced for a shrimp salad but the Old Fashioned was a hit!
This restaurant is in the Renaissance Hotel.
We ate dinner there one night for a convenient option on a busy day but regretted it. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was good but the crab cakes (actually balls) and chicken sandwich were both below par. The chicken was hard and dry. The crab balls looked like they were fried too long in old oil and they were gloppy with mayonnaise sauce and very little crab on the inside. Amazingly the succotash that came with the crab balls was delicious. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We also had the breakfast buffet on the weekend and that was fine. Good pancakes and a decent omelette bar. The interior was full of natural light. Pass on dinner and get cocktails and appetizers at the bar. Get breakfast for an easy decent option.

I'm really glad I checked this restaurant out on the 5th floor of the Renaissance Hotel. Malik was my server and he was very nice. I got there right when it opened at 6 PM. And I got the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and it rested on a bed of kale salad I think. It was delicious but I have had better bang bang shrimp. Then dinner I got a chicken main course meal and it was very, very good. It was enough to share for two people so I took the leftovers back to the room. For dessert I got the cheesecake with strawberries, and it was good, buy average. I would think anybody that would stop in and have dinner here would be happy with that choice. They have a really big bar to sit at if you have a group of people as well. Everybody here was very kind and nice and you could tell they really enjoyed their job. I would for sure return here and eat dinner if I was back in the city.

We loved the atmosphere here! Our server, Dawnyea, was outstanding. Our drinks were awesome, and the food was good! Will definitely return.
Wedding Welcome Event
My fiance and I hosted our welcome event for our wedding at the water table lounge. To be completely honest I was very nervous about the event even happening because prior communication with our POC was terrible. BUT the event went off without any issues and I really want to shout out Sanchez Drummond who was our new POC (literally days before the event). I met with her the day of my event and she was very sweet and helpful. She reassured me everything was set up, showed us where the food was located and the room the event was being held. I would highly recommend getting in contact with her if you need any events planned. Huge shoutout to all the staff, bartenders, and of course Sanchez for making that night incredible. I can’t thank them enough! The food was surprisingly really good. We had basically finger food: chicken tenders, wings, crudités and nachos. The nachos were delicious and a huge hit. Overall I would recommend this spot as everyone working were so lovely and the food was quite good!
I would avoid eating here if you don't have to.
The food is very mediocre and extremely overpriced for what you get. You can see the picture of the bang bang shrimp that I ordered to go, and there are about five pieces of shrimp in the box. It cost $16 for that! The shrimp was pretty good, but definitely not worth the price.
Stopped in for a late dinner before heading back to my room.
I didn't get to try a ton of things but the crab and spinach dip was really tasty and the Caesar salad was enormous. The pricey for some items were much higher than I had expected, but you're also partially paying for the beautiful view of the harbor. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Overall no complaints.

I usually don't like to speak bad on businesses, but the customer service here is terrible. The hostess had to take our order bc the waiter (the bar tender) didn't want to do his job. We didn't have a waiter tend to us the whole time. The only safe and grace is that the food was good.
Really went downhill!
Except for the omelet station the food was terrible. We have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and were truly happy. This time the place was dirty and the staff was uninspired. The gentleman at the omelet station was so nice and did a great job.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
