Winslow's Restaurant - 801 Saratoga Rd, Wilton, NY 12831 518 584 2489 for reservations or take-out http://winslowssaratoga.com/ We had the grand opportunity to eat dinner at one of the finest restaurants in Saratoga County. Located just North of Saratoga Springs on Route 9, about a 10-minute drive from Downtown! Our party was large; 9 of us total, with a little one in a high chair (freshly cleaned and sanitized by Hayly!). We were seated and occasionally assisted by Joanne, and both Joanne and Hayly were a pleasure to meet! Devon was our waiter and server, and was very attentive to all of our needs, from drink refills, to clearing our table and last but not least was helpful in getting some additional (DELICIOUS!) cornbread, that comes with the Sirloin Steak dinner. Chef Jeff Baker prepared all of our delicious meals. The house special and famous favorite; Tessie's Oven Roasted Turkey w/ Dressing, is a favorite of mine and 4 of us had the pleasure. We also tried 2 orders of House Butchered Char-Grilled Choice Sirloin Steak, 2 orders of Char-Grilled Center Cut Boneless Pork Chops, and one Fettuccine Carbonara. ALL our meals were served as a single dinner, but the servings were quite family style, with more than any of us could finish! We were seated in an Outdoor area covered with a large awning. Even though it was a very warm day (July 4th, 2020) it was a very comfortable setting. In between drinks, and salads, we took the kids to the Coy Pond, and fed the LARGE fish some appetizer french bread. We took some great pics! After packing up our leftovers, we had to order dessert to go. All were delicious! We had the pleasure of trying Banana Cream Pie, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie, and Cheesecake! Definitely a must after such a great meal! The chef was nice enough to come to our table and visit (High School classmate of mine) with us, and discussed Jeff's grandparents (Harold and Tessie Winslow), the founders of Winslow's. Both my family and Jeff's family were in the Bar and Restaurant business, going back well into the 1950's, and reminiscing was a long overdue pleasure with Jeff. In closing I wish to highly recommend this Restaurant steeped in Heritage and Tradition, featuring delicious food, and an excellent, attentive, and professional staff to serve your every need in a very comfortable and home-like setting!
