Wise Sons Jewish Deli Culver City Reviews from The Last Year

I was very sad when I went by today for some stuff for my "Break Fast" I was surprised and felt awful that the place closed. When I went on their website and saw one of the reasons was the change of traffic pattens. Well, this roads in this part of Culver City is by far the most effed up of lanes, permanent cones, colors in the road for different types of vehicles. It is so NUTS it is beyond crazy. I hate coming to this area because of that. Now that this place closed because folks really couldn't get to the place looks like the truth. What a disaster by the Culver City government and those idiot politicians and transportation leaders in this area of what is a pretty nice town.
It's closed.
Out of business. Sign on the door 9/2/23. Can't say more about it, but they apparently threw in the towel at the end of August.

- Bagel sando with mushrooms was well salted, good umami from the mushrooms. This was the favorite - Chili crunch sando didn't have any standout flavors. Could not taste the aioli. Pretty oily - Apple butter with the latkes was unique and delish - Seemed to have ran out of half the bagel flavors by noon on Saturday - Cute interior setting, great for people watching outside
Great sandwiches at a reasonable price.
The location is difficult if you are just picking up an order. But if you plan to eat at the restaurant, it's fine.

If you're looking for a solid chicken matzo soup or a great Reuben do not eat here. Since the pandemic so many of the great Jewish deli's have closed....this place is a solid disappointment for me. Ingredients and recipes just sub par in the taste department.

Wise Sons touches down from SF and brings Jewish eats to
Wise Sons touches down from SF and brings Jewish eats to Culver City. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating though we were ordering to go. You order at the front and it was chill service and took about a 5 min wait for food. The Yosemite sandwich was a classic comforting egg and sausage sandwich and the latke was a nice supplement. Dece good and place to have some casual breakfast.

My coworker treated me to Wise Sons, since I had never tried it. The price usually put me off, and I didn't want it to become a thing where the price didn't match what I was expecting. I didn't want to be disappointed. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the absolute best I've had, but it was definitely better than some other places. I had The Purist with pastrami and a side of fries. The pastrami was cut perfectly. It was wonderful and warm and juicy. It was a nice balance of lean meat with just a tiny of fatty pieces. The rye bread was fresh and soft with a chewy crust. I'm more of a brown mustard type of person, but even the bright yellow mustard worked on the sandwich. I wasn't wild about the pickles, though. The fries were good, too. Even for a takeout order they held up well without getting soggy in the container. Overall, I would probably go back. My brain still has a hitch with the price of it, but it's right there at justifiably good.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
