Bistro 135 Tracy Reviews from The Last Year
A classic little town atmosphere.
Where everyone knows your name when you walk in. A flatterer of delicate fusion of classic food tastes that will tickle anyone's palate. Selection of local wineries to your liking as well. It is always a wonderful evening or lunch if you choose. Stop by and give them a chance to tickle your taste buds. Mangiamo!

We love this place for a nice dinner out! Food is so tasty and never disappoints. Great bar with nice cocktail options. Can't go wrong if you're looking for quality food and tasty Italian in Tracy.
Service! Food! Ambiance! In that order.
Small in capacity. BIG on Service and Quality of Food! Danny is one of the most personable and talented Bar Tenders I have encountered.
Bistro 135 is by far our favorite place to eat in Tracy.
We love their happy hour and appetizers. Sometimes we call that dinner and other times we enjoy their dinner specials. You can't go wrong with either.

Great food and service! We have celebrated several special occasions here and I always come away happy! Make a reservation early though. They don't have a lot of tables
Our party of 4 arrived on time for our reservation at 6:15.
After checking we were told our table is finishing up and just needed to pay, then we would be seated. At the time there were 5 other open tables. We stepped over to the bar area ( approximately 10' away) and ordered a few drinks. We ended up waiting 45 minutes before I went back over to enquire about the delay and they said " we couldn't find you". So I said "ok, we are over here at the bar". I went back over to my party and told them it should be just a minute to be seated. I turn back around and the hostess is just staring at me. I ask her if everything is ok and she states she's ready to seat us. I was kind of taken back because every other restaurant will approach and escort to the table. She directed us to the corner table, that was available since we checked in. After 10 minutes of waiting a busser came by and dropped off their oil and garlic herb dip with out the bread. Another 15 minutes goes by and the waitress comes by for a drink order and apologized for no bread. 15 more minutes and still no bread and drinks arrive. We place our dinner orders with an appetizer. Bread finally shows up and another 30 minutes our appetizer ( carnitas nachos were amazing) arrived. 10 minutes later 1 entree arrived. 20 minutes later the waitress comes by and notices only 1 entree was dropped off and she comp it for the timing debacle. She went back to check an the rest of the order and informed us that one of the meals needed some kind of modification. Now after waiting another 30 minutes still hadn't received our 3 other entrees and asked for our check as we had been there 2 hours and still no meal. The only reason they recieved a 2 star rating is the drinks were made well, bartender was personable and the appetizer we did receive was amazing. Front of the house service and kitchen need to work on their game.
Extremely disappointing.
The server was sweet and kept us updated but overall, it was just a poor experience. After we ordered, there was an hour long wait before our food came out. As the restaurant was short-staffed, we understood that the wait would be longer than usual . However, it was super insulting when we saw that the owner and one of the cooks were seated two tables down from us! The waitress had addressed our complaints with the owner and the group continued to sit there and chat until they left. When we got our food, it was over-salted and the pasta had been so undercooked that it was hard. The only thing worth eating was the beet salad. Sad, overpriced food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

OMG, I have been wanting to go here for a long time and it did not disappoint, so yummy and the service was fantastic. We will be back absolutely.
I never expected a bad service and experience from a mom
I never expected a bad service and experience from a mom and pop restaurant. Ambience needs renovation and update, service was poor, food tastes great but came late and cold. Asked for bread and condiments 4x times and still nothing. You would think when you order a burger logically they would bring ketchup with it. The bartenders can smile a bit more and be friendly they are in a service establishment and want a tip get it?...here is a tip be friendly and hospitable while providing an exceptional service. I felt discriminated and uncomfortable, seemed like they were giving preferential treatment to white people. Overall not a good place and will not reconsider. Thank you Kevin!
Pretty good food.
The prices are a bit high for takeout so may be a better idea to visit in person in downtown Tracy

It's been few years since I went to this restaurant with my friends. I used to come here even during Covid. They used to have a great happy hour menus. Also they used to make pasta noodles but I don't think so by dining there yesterday. This restaurant is very small and busy. I highly suggest to make a reservation. One great thing is now the restaurant is open on Monday. A lot of locals still don't know the restaurant is open on Monday, I was very disappointed after I went back to this restaurant since I moved to Texas. The Bistro was one of the only fancy Tracy restaurant with full bar menus. Maybe they got super busy and can't keep up with fine gourmet dining. Now their pasta is over cooked noodles( pre cooked) everything seems greasy and creamy greasy pastas probably cooks in the stone oven with other items, instead of cooking on demand. Most of their menu items are greasy. Their salads have cheese for most of them. What if I don't like cheese? Also the cast iron shrimp was used to use much bigger shrimp and now they are small also their happy hours are downgraded to only 25% off from only shareable items. Service was very efficient to turn tables around however. I felt like I was in a rush and the server was lousy. It is not at the diner. She maybe experienced but she should not be the server at the fancy restaurant. Awful. This restaurant was one of the only fancy trendy restaurant in Tracy. Very sad to see this restaurant gone hill. However the city of Tracy has few options maybe they are ok like this. The menu needs definitely improved for lighter healthy options. Currently only offers stroke and high cholesterol friendly items. I was sad. Their alcohol beverages have great options. The truffle fries again it's deep fried items ( bad for you) was my most favorite here. Is management and chef changed in last 3 years?! I have dined here at least 10 times before. It is sad to say last night was my last time.

I just stopped in for a glass of wine, but was intrigued by the weekly special menu, which highlights a few items. The bar tender Danny greeted me immediately, offered fresh house made slow fermented sourdough focaccia bread, and ice water. The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable, with great music, and the service exceeded my expectations. This place is worth the visit if you are in Tracy.
Delicious food every single time.
I've been coming here for 3 years and every time they kill it!! The service is always great, everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. The environment is also great, it's never too loud but never too quiet either. Perfect all around !!

Bistro 135 is a wonderful restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating. They have the best Wedge salad and the appetizers are all delicious. Highly recommended enjoying the atmosphere and food with your friends and family here!
First round of drinks and appetizer was really good.
Then we sat for an hour waiting for our entrees. I had to flag the server down. I am pretty sure she forgot to put our order in. She was typing into the POS system for a while. Finally got food at 1 hour and 11 minutes into dinner. It wasn't good. Gnocchi was doughy and gritty. She messed up my boyfriend's order. He asked for no tomatoes or peppers but his had tomatoes and peppers. She said she felt bad and would comp a dessert and more drinks however we had to drive. Took up the offer for a free dessert then proceeded to sit and wait for the dessert for another 30 minutes. 2 hours is wayyyy too long for a dinner date. Overall, the waitress needs more training or better time management. Also they let a family bring a small dog into the dining room which ran up to me on the booth seat. They let the dog stay sitting on the booth the entire dinner. Kinda gross and unsanitary for a restaurant to allow a small dog to run around and go up to other tables on the booth. Didn't appear to be a trained service dog.
Cozy dining experience with excellent food.
We went to Bistro 135 for a casual night out on a whim. We were delighted with the prompt service and the menu items. We ordered salads and pasta dishes which were presented well and were very delectable. The prices were reasonable compared to chain Italian restaurants, but the food quality was much better than any chain. We will definitely make this restaurant part of our dining plans in the future.
