Brigadiers London Reviews from The Last Year
Great food and service, lively atmosphere
Ate here on Spring Break trip with two 15 year old boys with healthy appetites. Everything we tried was fantastic I was surprised by how lively the place was on a Tuesday night. Our table was not ready so we had old fashioneds in the bar. Love the old fashioned and gin and tonic options. Also good beer list. Tried two of the four old fashioneds. For dinner we had a big sampling including the mixed grill sizzler which was tremendous. Coming from SF Bay Area I thought this was top notch food. Service was fantastic as well, everyone we encountered was really helpful with suggestions and very pleasant. Had a tough time deciding where to go for Indian between here, Dishoom, Gymkhana and a few others but not disappointed. Highly recommended.
Indian food
I came here and ordered the set lunch. Place is cosily decorated and I was quickly seated at my table. I was given the drink menu but unfortunately the waitress requited help from her colleague when I enquired about the size of the beer that they served. I finally got the food.menu after a bit of a wait and ordered the samosa starter and the prawn biryani main. I wish the samosa came in a more generous portion, there were 3 small samosa served on the plate. The prawn biryani was tasty and appreciate the good selection of papadum.
Great Indian Food
Everyone raves about Dishoom, but Brigadiers was so amazing. Great Indian food & excellent service! After visiting the Tower of London we just walked in not really knowing if it was that good. Exceeded our expectations!
Really cool spot and vibe with good service.
Slightly overpriced. Would definitely come back though
The ambience was nice
The food was not as hot as it should of been It would have tasted much better hot. With Indian food it should always be served hot.
Brilliant Brigadiers
Fab experience. If you like Indian cuisine and fancy a different experience, this Indian tapas dish approach is great. Food is very well cooked. Staff and knowledgeable and keen which are always great signs of a good restaurant that staff are energised and invested in. Price of meal was reasonable. I figure this is best for a guys night out. Lots of pub sports on tap here if you fancy.
Nice Vibe but poor value for Money
The place has a nice vibe and very polite staff. The food however was a bit hit and miss. Chicken very good but goat chops far too fatty. Price/value here is an issue though. I was particularly surprised to be charged £52 for a bottle of "house red". The mark ups restaurants make on alcohol are astronomical as it is - but this seems extreme. I'd go again - but more for beers and snacks maybe? The food and wine really didn't justify the price ..
Average
Starters, cocktails and desert were good. The main course (daal makhni and chicken) were very salty and basic Staff was not attentive, guessing it was a late lunch as we were offered water whilst leaving though it was asked when sat. Considering the value for money, I would rethink for another visit.
Really good
Fourth time visit last night and , as before, food was excellent, service was great and the vibe was fun and funky. As a regular at Chutney Mary's Veeraswamy's and several others, I know what good looks like. Brigadiers is really good!!
Overpriced and overrated
I wanted to give some feedback regarding my visit on Saturday 3rd February. We had the six nations menu and some miss communication that we only got one of the small starters per person e.g. one chicken wing, one samosa per person. This is quite shocking considering the price per person is £45 a head. I did ask was it a portion per person as per a la carte and was told yes. I did ask the manager on the day if there was anything he could do, but refused to accommodate on the miss communication. I also said it was my cousins birthday in my reservation notes and nothing was done to make it special
Food Heaven at Brigadiers
What a great way to celebrate two of my friend’s birthdays. I was worried they would not like the food as I booked the restaurant. It was an enjoyable experience and the food was incredible. Thanks to Kat who attended to us and took all our orders and made recommendations. The restaurant was very busy and can see why as the restaurant decor, food and ambience are impeccable. I definitely will come back again. They treated my friends to a surprise birthday desert so that was a really nice touch. Also their bathroom was one of the cleanest and coolest I have ever been to in London. Thanks Clementina
Well worth a visit
Visited here today for a couple of drinks en/route to meet family for a day out. Staff and service very impressive and the food looked amazing. Will definitely be back another time to sample the menu.
Great evening, fantastic food and service
We were looked after by Fortiz who is the nicest and most enthusiastic waiter we have ever encountered, he made our evening. All the food was extremely tasty, the goat shoulder and lamb chops were sublime.

Flavorful and fragrant wild mushroom biryani washed down by mango lassi - what lunch could be better than that! Service by bartender at the counter was prompt and punctual. Lively sports bar ambience with a wide range of beverages offered. Equally perfect for hanging out with the boys or with the family.
Great food, good service
Lovely food, goat shoulder is so tender. Service really good and waiter very knowledgable about the menu

Great and amazing Indian food, in a city with some of the best Indian food in the world, London! exemplary service, beautiful restaurant and a fun place for a date while on vacation. I cannot recommend brigadier's more and will enjoy going there again when next in London.
A very enjoyable experience sitting at the bar.
I must say, London on average has better Indian food than in America. Service was prompt and attentive but a great atmosphere - lively and considerate. Every dish we ordered knocked it out the park so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the dishes. The beef biryani was a large portion where between the two of us, we couldn't finish it. Excellent meal and was too full to try desert.

Wow. First proper south Asian meal in the UK It didn't disappoint. Service as on point, vibe is super cool, as one would expect. The food was fantastic. Papadams. My wife ordered these by mistake in her jet lagged haze. It's not something we normally order and we aren't fans of. They weren't bad by any means - just not our thing. 3/5 Achari chicken skin. So unique. A variation in temp and texture. Not something you'd expect with south Asian food. 5/5 Naan. It's naan. It's good. Hard to mess this up. 5/5z Biryani. Solid beef biryani. No complaints whatsoever. 5/5 Mixed grill. This had tabdoori shrimp, Guinea fowl reshmi kabob, Kasoori chicken chops, and tandoori lamb. The chicken and shrimp were excellent. The kabob - mind blowing. Had the texture and flavor of a heavy red meat. In fact I had to look up what a guinea fowl was. Outstanding. The miss was the lamb. Though the flavor was great, they were very very tough. Without the lamb- 5/5. But because of it, 4/5. The chutney and raita. 3 sauces came with the papadams. They simply recycled these and brought the same Ones back with the biryani and the mixed grill. All good - but nothing amazing. The yogurt one was my least fave of the 3. 3/5 The carrot halwa pie. This is the most unique take I've ever had on carrot halwa. Served warm inside either a baked or fried pastry shell. Accompanied by a malai cardamom whip cream. This was the BEST item of the night. Fantastic.

This was my first visit to Brigaidiers and everything was delish! Gorgeous spot. I started with an old fashioned and we shared a bunch of plates. We ordered the goat belly vindaloo samosas, goat tiki buns, a tandori skewer, and the Dum Beef Shin & Bonemarrow Biryani. Loved every bite of everything, unfortunately later that evening my tummy was not happy with these choices. I was a mess halfway through the first act of Cabaret which we headed to directly following dinner. I'm not one to usually a dollar amount on food, as it really doesn't matter to me either way but... I can't help but note there's a significant price difference between Brigaiders and Dishoom (which I really love). If this is something that you may need to consider, I'd say you're totally fine at Dishoom. Service was great once we moved out of the front bar area and to a table in the main/rear dining room. Brigaiders is definitely a vibe! Totally worth checking them out, but I've never once had an upset tummy from Dishroom or any other Indian meal in my life, so the spices are spicing here folks or my system just couldn't tolerate all of the meat.
AMAZING is all I have to say! Great craft cocktails,
AMAZING is all I have to say! Great craft cocktails, excellent service and incredible food. Best Indian food we have ever had!
My quest for the ultimate Indian dining experience led me
My quest for the ultimate Indian dining experience led me to Brigadiers, the twelfth restaurant from JKS Restaurants, the group behind the Michelin-starred Gymkhana and Trishna. Brigadiers is inspired by the army mess clubs of India and features a menu focused on BBQ and street food from all over the country. While Gymkhana's menu lacked the variety of meats I craved, Brigadiers delivered beyond my wildest dreams and the reason I've dedicated my 900th YELP review to it. Mixed grill sizzler - (£70 = $87.50 USD) - The mixed grill sizzler was a feast for the senses, with an incredible diversity of succulent and well-marinated meats, including guinea fowl reshmi kebabs, kasoori yellow chili chicken chops, double tandoori lamb chops, and tandoori masala jheenga (shrimp). Without a doubt, the star of the show were the lamb chops, which were the best I have ever tried. They were so meaty, tender, flavorful, and fall-of-the-bone. The lasooni chicken tikka skewer (£10 = $12.50 USD) was another standout dish. The marinade of roasted garlic and Kashmiri chili was truly sublime, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The original BBQ butter chicken wings (£12.50 = $15.63 USD) were also a delightful surprise. The wings were crispy and the marinade of garlic, cashews, and butter was unique and delicious. Bread basket (£9 = $11.25 USD) - Of course, no Indian meal is complete without a variety of breads to soak up all the delicious sauces. The bread basket at Brigadiers features a selection of freshly baked naans, kulchas, and parathas that are perfect for scooping up the scrumptious meats. Overall, Brigadiers is a culinary masterpiece. The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is vibrant and lively. If you're looking for the ultimate Indian dining experience, Brigadiers is the place to go. All the meats served here are HALAL.

Couldn't get a table res so we sat at the bar and we're not disappointed. Our bartender was extremely friendly and helpful with plate suggestions and all 4 items we had were incredible.

Was so excited to go here after seeing it all over my TikTok--and it was worth it. I wish we hadn't been so full when we came so we could've tried more, but it was delicious and we couldn't resist stuffing ourselves. The service was great, our server recommended a lot of great drinks and food and was super attentive and nice. The ambiance was just what I was looking for...gave a British pub feel with indian vibes. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks, but our favorite was the jal jeera. The group favorites for food were the bbq butter chicken wings, wagyu seekh kebab roll, and bone marrow and shin biryani.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
