Cucina Venti Restaurant Mountain View Reviews from The Last Year
Nice food and would recommend.
.. The menu has a lot of variety. I enjoyed the food even. The food is scrumptious! The waiters are pleasant.
Had lunch here mid-week.
Great place for a group or couple for lunch. Service was attentive and professional. A fine selection of vegetarian options and great desserts. Nice drink menu with craft cocktails and Italian wines. A little pricey for lunch but good for a special occasion. A little loud inside when the place fills up.
Celebrated my daughter's birthday here.
Staff was attentive and polite. The decor is beautiful, felt very fancy. Food had great flavor. They offer truffle cheese on almost every dish, which is great but it'll cost you every penny in your pocket. We were a party of 6 and our bill was $800. I didn't expect it to be so much. Would I come back? Maybe, but just with my husband.
Scammy and unwelcoming vibes.
Host was rude when we walked in without a reservation on a weekday (though there were plenty of tables for two). We were seated and our server was nice enough, though deceptive about prices. Water was $12 and she kept pushing me to order a table-side drink and I declined. Later I learned they were charging $200 for it. Just an icky feeling knowing they were trying to dupe me. Food was yum, but ultimately won't go back.
Great place to visit! Highly recommend.
Great food and beautiful ambience. 5/5 will go back again
Quality of the food and service was exquisite! I did not
Quality of the food and service was exquisite! I did not feel the price matched the quality of the food, otherwise 5 stars. Came here for a weekday dinner, and was lucky to get a table. The atmosphere felt more like a fine business dinner. I would definitely reserve in advance should I return. We had the Bruschetta to share. I ordered a fettuccine with Duck Confit (I'm a sucker for a good duck), and one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. Bruschetta was forgettable, the fettuccine was just the right about of creamy with fresh well-cooked duck, and the cake was absolutely rich but not too sweet. I tried the tiramisu as well, and while it was good, the cake was definitely the highlight dessert. The pine nuts and raisins were a nice touch on the fettuccine. All in all 4.5/5 if I could give a half star I would!
I've eaten here twice.
First time was summer of 2023 with my old co-workers and last time was a New Year's Eve dinner with my boyfriend! The vibe and aesthetic is upscale, romantic but casual! It's great for dates, anniversaries, and big groups. The chandeliers are both inside and outside in the patio. They have a fireplace in the back with beautiful tables too. Linda Lima did a great job designing this restaurant and if you ever see the owner, Bella, say hello to her; she is just lovely!
Great Italian food- excellent service
We had lunch for two. The service was very good. Food was delicious. Large portions, fresh ingredients. We had prawns for starters and pasta for main course.
Made reservations here for a Saturday night.
The place wasn't hard to find and had lots of parking. They have both outdoor and indoor seat and we opted for indoor. The staff here are really nice. I wanted to try their pesto tortellini. Didn't know it was into served during lunch. However, our waiter asked the kitchen and they said they could stay make it for us. How nice of them! We ordered the calamari as appetizers and each got a pasta. But both agreed that the food wasn't that special. Rather spend the money elsewhere. They also charge us for still water... love the service and vibes, but can't get over how the pasta tasted quite ordinary.
Terrible fake Italian carbonara.
Did not like how they appropriate of Italian traditional cousine using names that are not representative of the food they serve. I have no problem if you want to make a fusion dish, or be creative about the way you make food, but don't make people think this is traditional Italian food by naming your food with our ancestors's recipes names
Overall great experience.
On the pricier side of the spectrum for Italian cuisine, but worth it if you're trying to have an upscale experience. The food portions were spot on, the drinks were lovely, but pricey, and the service was remarkable. This restaurant includes gratuity which is a plus in my opinion and I think I'll be going back one day.
Food is good the environment is good.
Service is good. But it is at the expense of mandatory 20% tips. The Fettuccine is great. The Branzino special which is a sea bass is ok. It says no bones but there's still some bones left.
The restaurant was filled with decorations.
Candlelight flickered off the glasses and cups, giving the restaurant a truly enchanting glow. The service was awesome, but that's what you'd expect when you're paying for a fancy dining experience. The food was good but simple. I got a seafood pasta that had a little spicy kick to it. Overall, the food didn't wow me. It was nice a experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. 3.5/5
This restaurant did not disappoint.
The minute we walked in they acknowledged that it was my friend's birthday. The food was delicious every dish seemed to get even better than the previous. The customer service was exceptional. So attentive, friendly and personable. Looking forward to taking our husbands so they can enjoy the experience too..
excellent food and service! i look forward to going back.
I am italian and from NY so i know italian food. there is a lot of crappy italian food in the bay area, but this was high end and worth every dollar.
Food was amazing, super delicious and full of flavor.
Service was great everyone was attentive and friendly.
A Slice of Italy - Deep in the Pockets of Redmond
Walking into "La Dolce Vita" offers a captivating snippet of Italian romance, sitting comfortably yet paradoxically amidst the binary jungle of Microsoft headquarters. A refuge for coders and executives alike, where the well-rehearsed dance of the dollar bill takes place alongside linguini and tiramisu. The service is remarkable, combining the charm of Milan with the efficiency of a startup on steroids. One is greeted with a heartwarming smile, soon to be counteracted by the rather chilling glance at the price on the menu. The food, a symphony of rich flavors and vibrant colors, generously borrows from the famed culinary traditions of the Italian peninsula. Yet, the portion size could leave the more famished amongst us longing for just one more forkful of risotto. The prices here seem to be inspired not by the humble trattorias of Rome or Venice, but more by the dot com boom or the surge in Bitcoin. A single visit could make a considerable dent in the average diner's wallet. But hey, if you’re dining on Microsoft's dime, it’s merely a rounding error. To put it simply, "La Dolce Vita" is a fine Italian restaurant, offering an indulgence in gastronomy and hospitality. Yet, be prepared to pay Silicon Valley prices for this slice of Italy. Overpriced? Indubitably. But when it’s nestled beside a tech titan, it seems to simply play by the rules of its geographical fortune.
