Everything was amazing from the service, food, to ambiance.
Really had a great time. Chef was very accommodating since everyone had a different cook meat preference. Definitely recommend.
Be the first to ReplyThis was only my second time and finally hit the sweet spot.
Started with the Chianti Classico (haven't had a Chianti in years) it was perfect. We had the grilled focaccia bread, eggplant, and the soup broth with these little Parmigiano-Reggiano cubes (all 3 excellent) we then shared the Suckling pig head (below average) and the wild trout (above average) and finished with lemon sorbet (best sorbet we've ever had) and the hazelnut ice cream (incredible) beautiful interior (outside seating has slightly less charm) and our service was world class. We will be back!
Be the first to ReplyImma say it.
This place acts all trendy and cool but it is not. Food was mediocre at best, bread was burnt and cold (not sure how you do that) and served with 3 horrible butters. Additionally the servers were too hands on (I know seems like a compliment) they stopped by probably every 2-3 minutes making it difficult to have a conversation which was already difficult because of how tight the seating was. Only thing fishier than their sardine like seating arrangement was the weird ass butter. Go to Craft by Smoke and Fire instead!!!

What a cool space! It's in an old produce market in the warehouse district. Street parking was easy. Wait staff is professional and attentive. I got the maltagliati with mushrooms. Very good. Handmade pasta was al dente. Ambiance was relaxed. Very open dining hall with tall ceilings. My only note is that the bathroom is very dark. It's painted black floor to ceiling with very dim lighting and a small candle. You might brighten it a bit for folks who can't see in the dark.
Be the first to ReplyI love this place.
The ambiance is nice, and the food even better. Lets talk about the food. I've been here a few times. Usually try to order different things to try. The menu does change so my review might not reflect what they have on the menu when you go. The funghi pasta here is really good. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and had a ton of different mushrooms in there. The sauce is out of this world delicious. The Ceasar Salad was good. The salad wasn't all mushy, and it wasn't drenched in sauce. The ribeye was delicious. Was super tender, great flavor, and perfectly cooked to medium rare. Every bite was just as good as the first. Brussels Sprouts, my friend hates brussel sprouts, and he ate about half the bowl. That's all I got to say about that. The pork chop is good. I mean really good. Super tender and perfect flavor. My friend orders this every time he goes here. As many times as I've been here, I've never had a bad dish. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice meal, date night, or just to get out of the house.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was slow for us being one of the first here.
The food took an unusual amount of time to come out and our waiter rarely came out to check on us. We had out servers turn into our waiters over the evening. The portions were small and unfulfilling. The food was decent. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to family or friends.

Food was a bit bland. We were served by Collin who did an amazing job. The rest of the staff were super attentive as well. The food was okay. It's wasn't bad, but it wasn't what my wife and I were expecting at these price points. Everything was just so...bland and flavorless. We started with the seafood frito misto which is just a fancy way to say calamari. to Nothing amazing there, I'd had better calamari at bars. The broth in the brodo was delicious but the Parmesan cubes in left us wanting more. They had a stuffed pasta dish which was also ok but still bland. The real star of the meal was the salami honey pizza which was packed with amazing flavor.Complimentary Gelato was good and so were the cocktails.

Rossoblu completely fixed their timing and our courses were served perfectly. That was my main complaint from my first experience.Brodo - We enjoyed the brodo again. This time it was tiny squares of richly flavored cheese instead of tiny pasta like it was last time. All around yummy from the cheese bites to the rich broth. Pizza - We went with the sausage rabe pizza. The flavor was good, but the crust was a little too floppy. I think we just need to stick with their main menu since the pizza is completed by a neighbor restaurant. Trout - We had the trout as a main. It was cooked perfectly and the topping went well, but unfortunately the topping somewhat ruined the crisped fish skin. I also thought the bean puree was good on its own, but I wasn't crazy about it with the fish. But maybe that's me--fish and beans seem like an unusual pairing.Gelato - We finished by sharing a bowl of hazelnut gelato and it is still the creamiest, best tasting gelato I've ever had. It also comes with with candied pralines that is something sweet to crunch on. Yum.

We were late to our reservation with Bestia so we decided to come here instead. They were able to seat us immediately luckily at peak time on a Friday night at the bar. Our bartenders were very attentive to us and brought out our orders on time. I asked for the focaccia bread to start. I will say it didn't look like the typical focaccia you see in stores but it still tasted fresh and the dips it came with were quite good. I ordered the tagliatelle and my husband ordered the cavatelli. My tagliatelle honestly was not that good and needed salt so I asked the waiter for salt for me to add. I noticed the people next to us also ordered the same thing and asked for salt as well. My husbands cavatelli actually tasted better than my food so I ended up using his sauce to add to the pasta cus it was lacking flavor. Ambiance was really nice and the drinks were pretty strong but good!! I recommend their cocktails for sure.

Lovely experience here!Met up with some friends for a Galentine's day dinner. The hostess and the server saw all our Galentine's day gifts and decor and were all so friendly and accommodating! They brought us a little side table to place the gifts on as well as gave everyone a little sparkling rosé taster. It's the little things, ya know?We ordered a ton of food and shared it all so we got to try a lot of different dishes.Focaccia Citrus saladEggplantBolognese pastaMushroom pastaDiavola pizzaBrussel sprouts After all that we somehow managed to try the olive oil cake, tiramisu and the panna cotta. My favorites were the pizza and the pastas obviously. I normally find mushroom pasta too rich but this one was really great! I would definitely order it again.More than the food, the restaurant really had good service. Aside from the rosé tasters, they also sent over a complimentary ice cream with our desserts.Overall I found it to be a great place to celebrate a special occasion or a great date night spot. Decor and ambiance were great for celebrating.

Was able to snag a birthday reservation for Thursday night for 5. I parked via street meter parking. There was valent parking as well ($12?). The Interior was beautiful with a chatty, dimmer atmosphere. And the service was super great and helpful. From the bar, I ordered Mr. Q Company (recommend). We shared Seafood Fritto Misto and Salami Honey Pizza. For our entrees, we ordered Olympia's Tagliatelle and Tortelloni after our server recommended it. The food was decent and would be open to returning again. Highlights were definitely the Salami Honey pizza and the Tortelloni. Definitely more of a chatty date or group spot. Pictured: our order
Be the first to ReplyOk I'm just going to get right to it.
.. their salami and honey pizza was the best pizza I've had in LA. I was a little worried about honey on a pizza but I took one bite and I honestly don't know why this is not a thing. Or maybe it is a thing and I'm just not in the know. Either way, try it!! We also ordered the beef and pork tagliatelle and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The vibe inside is trendy but not loud or obnoxious. The food came out really fast and the staff is amazing. We were celebrating an anniversary and they gave us some wine and a desert on the house. It was very sweet. I can definitely see why it is Michelin rated.
Be the first to ReplyDelightful place.
Lovely atmosphere, terrific service, delicious food. I enjoyed it all. The Fritto Misto was well seasoned and delicious, the citrus salad was banging and the two pizzas were great. I thought I'd like the honey/salumi pizza the most, but it was good, but not great. However, the Diavolo pizza kicked ass!
