Stumbled upon this restaurant and was so pleased. Our waitress was so friendly and cool, the vibes were perfect and the food was SO good.
We had a great time at The Dearborn.
The food was solid overall--especially the Brussels sprouts, which were absolutely amazing and packed with flavor. The drinks were another highlight: well-crafted and creative without being over the top. We ended the meal with cookies, which were goo
Anniversary Lunch!
We stopped in for lunch on our 1 year anniversary and had an amazing lunch. There was live music and they were remarkably good as I often find live music distracting or too loud to have a good conversation. Our server, Nikolai was an absolute dream!
The food was excellent.
We ordered some seafood and a pasta dish. Always crowded because it's good. Service was great too. Highly recommend.
In my opinion the Dearborn is a Chicago must.
Everything is great from the cocktails to the steak to the burgers. The service was knowledgeable and fast. Our waiter joked with us and made us feel more at home.

I came twice during my trip to Chicago as it was conveniently located across the street from Hotel Cambria where I stayed, AND because the first time it was so delicious I had to return for more! The burger was mouth-watering and perfectly done, and

I can't say enough about my experience. We didn't have a reservation but were greeted with such warmth. The server was so helpful and patient despite having a very full dining room. We never felt rushed or ignored - the timing of every cour

Great Food and Service
Dropped in late Saturday afternoon early evening for dinner. Wasn't overly busy at just before 6pm and shown to a table for 4. Ordered the oysters to share, bread and then ordered a regular burger and the Wellington Burger to share and 2x fish a
Fish n Chips!
Really a nicely decorated restaurant. Original seat was a bit awkward so asked to move to a booth which we were accommodated. (Thanks staff). Order a salad and fish and chips. Coming from England, it’s been hard to find fish and chips close to bein
Extra crispy chicken.
Ordered the fish and chips, which was good. However, the bottom appeared a little soggy. Supposedly, it beat Bobby Flay. The chicken maple mustard glazed with homemade hot sauce was fantastic. No side came with this. The total price was around $60.
Delicious Dinner
Ate at the bar as the restaurant was full, able to eat from the full menu. Fabulous service from the bar staff. Burger Wellington was amazing.
Great Choice

The Dearborn is a fun and lively restaurant. The food is solid. I had a duck breast, a dish many restaurants mess up, and they nailed it. The hamburger Wellington was creative. All in all a solid experience, but is this *really* in the top 1/3 of
Great food. Great atmosphere
Wonderful food in a nicely set up restaurant. The fish and chips were good but the chicken was amazing. It’s a must try. Parker house rolls with the chive butter is a must try as well.
Reliable; hidden fee obnoxious
Nice place with high ceilings, a cool vibe, good food and service, generous portions. The croquettes are rich and tasty, French-style halibut preparation (stewed in a skillet) is interesting and delicious. The tacked-on 3.25% "operational fee&qu
Lovely setting, good food.
Good food and drinks. Server was great. Seasoning was a little off on the burger, but the curry was excellent, portions were solid, and the atmosphere was really lovely. Enjoyable evening. Might help to have a GF menu.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to The Dearborn Chicago at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the The Dearborn Chicago page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* CompellingStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* CompellingStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to CompellingStation67 for any questions Peter may have as CompellingStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* CompellingStation67 now uses their connections at The Dearborn Chicago to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If CompellingStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, CompellingStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to CompellingStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at The Dearborn Chicago!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
