For my first time at The Pan (Long Beach) I have to say that I'm quite surprised at how well the food was prepared and how much time it took for me to get my food. Overall the service gets an 5/5 for this location. The staff is kind, sweet, and helps to their full potential. The Ambiance created by the background music and warm at home feeling came off as cozy. The Food genuinely tasted like the chefs know what they are doing. Potatoes were crisp lightly salted, eggs a perfect sunny side up, bacon cooked to that crispy but not burned perfection, pancakes were not warm and without the mountain of Butter that is added to top I personally would pass on the pancakes next time. But for sure worth coming back. Just keep in mind this establishment can get busy lucky for me I only waited 25 mins on a Monday morning. Best times are after the morning rush between 12-3pm Update: whatever you do. DONOT order take out. Meat was either super dry or burned to a crisp. Don't order the Cuban sandwich nor the asada fries. Beans are over salted. To top it off how does it take the kitchen 50 mins to make two dishes in a restaurant only half full. Pulled pork was dry and asada was burned

She made sure we had a great visit and was also very patient with my kids which meant a lot to me. They also had wonderful music playing which completed our visit. Thanks Arlene!

They took over a beautiful diner so that was a plus with plenty of parking. The service can be more attentive the servers are running around maybe short staff I am not sure. But it can take a while but it's worth it , I just wouldn't go here with a time restraint

Couple this with the fact the waiting area can only really accommodate six people and then with visitor traffic you want to hang out around the front so you're not forgotten may be problematic. Another fun fact was Sysco and Prudential Overall Supply had their trucks parked along the sides of the building so that made parking (ample but usually crowded) fun. A couple ladies waiting outside with me stated that location in Gardena isn't this busy. Well well well...a couple staff showed initiative and put a couple benches outside. "No one goes there anymore, it's too crowded." Yogi Berra and me.

This new pan is absolutely delicious! My family and I came and my mom,my grandma, and aunt got the honey mustard but they made it for us because they didn't have it on the menu. My grandma had first tried it and recommended it to my whole family saying it was so good! The place is so cute and right down the street from my house. Our server was Nick. We definitely recommend it to everyone!!

Service OVERALL was courteous. Tips: Don't leave your table or your table will be wiped clean EVEN with food and drinks left - with Togo containers unfilled and a heads up to your waitress you will be returning!!!MAJOR disappointment Ordering: ask if there is a extra charge for what your ordering (you won't know till you get your receipt) Parking: gets busy at brunch Woman restroom- middle stall, latch comes a-loose. All stalls must flush twice for full flush
Absolutely loved my experience at the Pan.
Food was great and my server, Susana was so nice and attentive. Fastest service I've ever had and she was so busy but still took such good care of my large party. Great recommendations and knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience unforgettable. I ordered the bar drink, Quick Sand, and she made it for me beautifully and it was so good. Will definitely be coming back and asking for Susana!

This is the first time my husband and I came to this restaurant. We were invited by our nephew. The food was awesome and the ambiance was great. We were there with my sister, niece, and my nephew and his girlfriend. Our waitress Nicolette was awesome. She has a pleasant personality and the service from all the crew was just amazing. Food was delicious. Need to try the pastrami breakfast sandwich. Lil on the salty side but again is pastrami. Also service can be better. It was a lil busy our server didn't check up on us after serving our food. But all around the food was good. Also for you sweet tooth the wife got the cinnamon roll pancake, wow will blow your mind delicious!

Thought it would be tasty but the hash browns were very bland, the eggs were bland. The wings were so fatty they were uneditable. The chorizo scramble was not worth the $17. It was child size. See photo. The eggs were not worth the $4 ( see photo). They forgot the specialty pancakes. Should have just gone to Bake n Broil. No one answers the phone. I tried to place a phone order and they put me on hold. Waited for at least 5 minutes and no one ever came to the phone to take my order. I know you think I'm exaggerating but you can see the photo with the call. I prefer placing my order directly with the restaurant instead of a 3rd party. I ended up placing my order through Yelp and it was routed through Grub Hub. Picked up my order at the time listed in the app and when we got home we discovered the pancakes were missing. The pancakes were for my mother n law and it's her birthday. Only reason we opted for take out is bc we were getting ready for her 60th birthday party. Not a great way to start the day. The place is just overall very unorganized. The parking lot is a mess just like the restaurant. We were told to go to the back register for pick up. There was no one manning the restaurant. Someone walked in after us for a carry out order and they got it before us. They need to have someone manning that register and taking orders for takeout to avoid any confusion. I tried calling the restaurant several times about the order but no one ever answered. Overall, terrible experience. This is not how I remember the place when it was in Bixby Knolls.

Went to Brunch with my eldest Daughter today to a place she'd been to before and it was amazing The food choices were great and the cocktail menu was amazing. I had the Shrimp and Grits it was mouthwatering delicious and such a great portion. My daughter had the Short Rib Benedict and she loved it ate everything off her plate. We had a wonderful waitress who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food menu which we appreciated very much and want her employer to know she gave that extra measure of care and should be applauded for her hospitality and great customer service! The cutest was my granddaughter she had a cute child's plate with a pancake with a happy face on it a scrambled egg and bacon The restaurant was cute and the atmosphere was nice with a nice home like ambiance. I will definitely be back again

Decided to come here with a group of friends for breakfast today. We arrive just after 9:00 AM and it took an hour to be seated, then another hour to receive our food. The food was delicious, the server was very nice. I don't know if they are understaffed or something else is going on, but I asked for the check twice and after 20 minutes was able to pay. I made the mistake of asking for a printed receipt and there went another 20 minutes! I could have been a one off, but I'm not sure. I will try them one more time before I reserve permanent judgement!

over an hour wait on a sunday for a party of 8 . understandable bc again its a sunday and considered to be a " large " party . went to wash my hands in the restroom ? filthy . once they say our table is ready , they separated us to two separate tables . bringing out one plate at a time so none of us even ate together . chicken was burnt . grits were burnt . had to BEG for waiters to simply bring WATER . then we're told we can't split the check . then the manager comes and says we can't split the check but we can pay with separate checks . then the WRONG check comes . and waiter was NOWHere to be found . horrific .
I've been a long time customer at the Pan.
From their old location up until the new location. They claim to be family oriented but the hostess catch's an attitude if you have an infant in a small stroller. My husband and I went for brunch with our baby and well I finally had it with the hostess attitude I decided to speak to the manager. Well it was useless. I was basically told by the manager I shouldn't give the hostess an attitude back . She even said that we should be leaving the stroller in the car anyway and carry the baby. IVE NEVER been to "family" restaurant and told to carry my infant and eat at the same time. Usually my experience will get better when Nicolette serves us but she was off today and of course our waitress was new and very novice. Idk if I would like to return after pretty much being told by "management" to leave my infant away from the restaurant cuz they will NOT accommodate.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
